Voters should sit down and evaluate quality wins, home/away losses, conf championships. From there, decide who goes to the BCS champ game.
Interesting note: OSU would have more wins over "ranked" teams. Could get interesting.

If Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma, they'll have 3 wins over BCS top 25 teams while Bama only has 2. LSU, with a win over Georgia will have 5 wins over BCS top 25 teams.

It's not the BCS' fault that the SEC has a title game. Those two systems are not connected. Let the SEC decide not to have a title game since the NC is more important.

Oklahoma State will also have a double overtime loss to a 6-5 Iowa State team while Alabama will have an overtime loss to the #1 team in the country.

Bama's only really good win is Arkansas(#8) Maybe your could add Penn State (#25?).
OSU would be - Kansas State(#11), OU(#10), Texas(#20something)and Missouri(#20something)

his point was more about not anointing Bama simply because you think they're better, compare the teams' accomplishments and decide who is more deserving. Ok State has a title game with Oklahoma, if they win that should merit comparison to Alabama's conference championship "play-in" game they lost to LSU.

I'd say that is pretty damn definitive.
Bama's best win (Arkansas) struggled to beat the #7 Big 12 team.

I see your point. I bet this will make teams/schools think twice about continuing to belong to a conference without a true conference championship game. If the Big 12 still had a true CCG, this would go down to the wire.
