Did LSU fans make noise during the moment of silence?

I read this quote on the hogville site...haven't seen it discussed...is there any truth to this?
I find it hard to believe
Have to ask this, but is it common place in Death Valley for Tiger fans to yell and cheer during a moment of silence for a 19 year old football player that died unexpectedly?
That was by far the most "classless" act of the day IMHO.

In the delusional existence that is hogville, LSU fans threw pig hearts on the field during the moment of silence. Inbreds and Internet access is a dangerous cocktail.

There's always a couple morons cheering during moments of silence, but it was very quiet.

No one was yelling during the moment of silence. I'm sure some people were talking (like the Arkansas fans in front of me), but I did not hear yelling or cheering from where I was sitting.

I sit in the west upper, and in my opinion, it was as quiet as 93k people could possibly be.

I can promise you 100%, absolutely not. Yeah, there are usually a few jackasses that scream something in the moment of silence, but even I noted that on Saturday it was so silent it was eery.
Arkansas fans that have to make up stories and lie to make themselves feel better are absolutely pathetic.

The odds of having 93K people in one place, and not at least having a few assholes in the mix, are impossible to contemplate. I'm sure the overwhelming majority of LSU fans, as would any college football fans, took the moment quite seriously.

I sit in the North endzone, and there was a woman next to me crying. As the announcer was talking, she started clapping softly, then stopped, then started again, then stopped.
You could tell she was grateful that we were having a moment of silence for Garrett, but was very emotional. However, she wasn't making a ton of noise.
After the moment of silence, Alma mater, and Star Spangled Banner ended, we started talking about Uekman and she said that she had just lost her 6 year old a while back. I didn't go into it too much with her, as I actually began to well up myself.

I didn't hear anything in our area, but really someone is complaining about this? I am not doubting it their are disrespectful ppl everywhere in this fricked world. But hell LSU didn't even have to acknowledge it. Why can't they just say hey that was very classy of LSU to take time to do that and be done with it.

considering there were 93000 people in there it sounded damn quite to me.

i've been attending games since '87 and that was one of the quietest moments in tiger stadium i've heard. very respectful.

No noise in the East Upper. When they brought Chico on the field, the Hog fans had no problem doing their Pig Sooie cheer tho

very quiet. Even much quieter than the Hogs section by 4th quarter.

Not where I was sitting in the south endzone. I can tell you that the majority of hog fans around us didn't take off the hats for the national anthem though. Bunch of disrespectful inbreed rednecks.

The Arkansas fan sitting next to me wasnt paying attention to the announcement about the moment of silence. When everything got so quiet he looked at me in shock and said why is it so damn quiet all of a sudden? I just smiled and told him later.

Everyone here pretty much hit the nail on the head. I was in the NEZ and it was very quiet. The exception was about two or three very distinct and very loud "wooooooooo"s that happened. That being said, 3/98,000 is still an amazing a-hole/decent human being ratio.

Very quiet in the stands. It began with "we compete on the scoreboard, but we all mourn the loss of this young man". His picture was on the jumbotron,; it was poignant and fitting.
