the human polls might, and that'll be enough unless it's really close between Okie St. & Bama in the humans with Okie St. on top of Bama in the computers

Only real chance of it not happening now is OSU winning next weekend AND VT losing.

They aren't doing a whole lot today to state their case. Auburn is woeful and they're letting them hang around.

All I know is that if we play Bama for the NC... Then Bama should spot us a TD. 3 points for our margin of victory over them and 4 points for their home field advantage during that game. Then if the beat us they'll have a valid claim on the title.

Still thinks its absurd if we play them again, beat at your house and you get to sit on your arse the rest of the season and skirt in the NC game.

Typical Bama it would only make sense for them to get everything handed to them. If we would of lost by that same score, I'm pretty sure we would of been easily knocked out the top 5

What have they done to warrant a rematch? A lot of it has to do with them being Alabama and being coached by the great Nick Saban. Add in the fact prior to the November 5th showdown ESPN and all the web sites were yapping about a rematch and that's why you have one coming our way.

I love SEC football, but to have 2 SEC teams in the championship game is basically telling the rest of the country, "Not only are you not as good as the SEC, you can't even get a team in the title game." That's absurd.

I still say...hope...it comes down to voters saying you didn't win your division or conference championship...you don't go.

They've done nothing to warrant a rematch. So they win out. Others did too.

It's all media...and their love of the great Alabama.

It was hard enough to win the first game. Pure odds favor them, even in the Dome. Yes, Les gets a month to prep for them...but they get 5 weeks plus watching us next week. Not right. If the roles were reversed, we wouldn't be in the conversation.
