Who to Pull for Thread

I think LSU makes the NC game no matter what happens in Atlanta, but pull for LSU's opponents (SEC teams - especially against the ACC, Oregon, Western Kentucky) if you want extra breathing room.
It seems like most folks are hoping that LSU doesn't play Bama in the NC game. If Bama beats Auburn, I still think Ok State has at least a shot if they beat OU. Ok State's biggest problem is Va Tech who is already ahead of them and has potentially 2 decent wins to come. Stanford is an issue too, but if push came to shove Ok State would likely jump them in most ballots.
So if Va Tech wins out, Bama has to be the favorite (although I wouldn't count out Ok State). If Va Tech loses a game, I think Ok State has a VERY good shot. So if you want Bama out, pull for- in relative order: (all of this is pretty obvious but some might be interested so I started a thread)
1. AU over Bama
2. Virginia over Va Tech
3. Notre Dame over Stanford
4. Wisconsin over Penn State
5. OU over Iowa State. (Yes, I know Iowa State beat Ok State, but think that Ok State needs that OU win to be as impressive as possible)
6. FSU over Florida (this hurts LSU too, but of course doesn't really matter)
7. Any of Bama's rent-a-wins to lose
Pretty short list. Did I miss any of consequence?

Florida-Florida State, maybe?

We don't need bama to lose. We need UVA to beat Va Tech. Stanford losing to ND would help As well.

What about South Carolina - Clemson? Wouldn't we want Clemson to lose?

an AL lost would clearly open the doors for another 1 lost team.
...
if Bama wins, we need other 1 loss teams to continue to win....strongly

what for? I would rather Clemson win and take some momentum into the ACC CG against Va Tech

Obviously it helps if only 1 of Okie, Va Tech, and Stanford wins out so the votes wouldn't get split up, but is it a safe assumption that Okie has the best chance of those 3? If Okie and Stanford lost, would Va Tech have any shot with 2 more games, including a conference championship game?

I would say both Va Tech and Stanford have close to ZERO shot to pass Bama. Ok State's shot comes from the fact they will be ahead of Bama in nearly every computer - Va tech and Stanford will be far from Bama in the computers.
Also, Ok State has the "we won our conference" argument. Stanford probably won't have that

Does Iowa State - OU matter?
Would Iowa State defeating OU somehow make OK State's loss not look as bad in the computers?

Gotcha, thanks - looked at the schedules, 2 of Okie's OOC games, Arizona and ULL, are playing each other today so I guess that one doesn't matter - weird final weekend matchup, but whatever

Yeah, thought about adding Iowa State over OU - but that has pluses and minuses. In fact it may be better if OU wins.

If we are confident that LSU is in no matter what, and we really don't want to play Alabama in the BCSNCG, then it seems to me that we should actually root against all of the SEC teams in their non-conference games today (Florida against Florida State, Georgia against Georgia Tech, South Carolina against Clemson, Vanderbilt against Wake Forest). These should weaken Bama in the computers vis-a-vis Oklahoma State, because they have either played these teams (Florida, Vanderbilt) or many of their opponents have played these teams (Georgia, South Carolina). Of course, these SEC losses would weaken LSU's computer scores as well, but that probably doesn't matter.
