Serious?
Go to TAF...make a donation...and wait.
Want "good" tickets not in the upper deck? How old are your children? Be prepared to wait a long time.
I'm in the east upper deck and love the seats, love the people around me and the view is great. Rethink where you're willing to sit if you really want to have season tickets. And rethink needing 4.

How does someone go about getting season tickets for next season?
Simple
Hope LSU fires Miles and hires Curley Hallman.

Serious response here.
Buying season tickets is like playing the stock market, you don't buy a stock when it skyrockets to an all time high. The reason you are getting silly replies is because the demand will be at an all time high. I've had four season tix since 1997 and it costs me around 2500/yr, and I plan on adding at least four more this year if they are available. I suspect I won't be the only current ticket holder adding, and we get first priority, which makes it more difficult for people like yourself to get tickets, especially in the bowl, which will likely be impossible.
It isn't that people are just trying to be jackasses, but what you are asking for is very much a longshot at best in the five years, even if you get on the waiting list. I would defintely call and get on it and ask what your options are.

we want our two kids to grow up experiencing Tiger Stadium week in and week out.
Take them to the non-conference games. Tickets are easy to find beforehand.

My wife and I want to start a family tradition of Tiger tailgating during football season.
Join a tailgate crew. You don't have to go to every game.

This is why I got baseball season tickets, 430 bucks for 2 tickets and 30 games

I can get Saints season tickets a lot easier and cheaper than Tiger tickets and see NFL games.
Are you sure about that? Let us know if you have any luck trying to get Saints season tickets.
It sucks and welcome to the club. For young people who didn't come of age until after the great success, you don't have realistic chance at getting tickets unless you are rich or privileged.

I've got an eleven year old son and a 4 month old daughter who will sit and watch a whole Tiger game without fussing a bit. She loves seeing her daddy get excited about the Tigers. No offense intended but I've sat in the east upper deck and it was like watching little purple and gold ants run around the field. Me and a buddy of mine sat in the upper deck sidelines at the Bama game and those weren't nearly as high up as the east upper deck in Tiger Stadium. After making my donations over the course of a few years, if I'm fortunate to get season tickets I would think that they would be in the upper deck. If I continued to donate is there any chance of getting lower seats once your higher on TAF's list or once you get your season tickets, are you locked into those particular ones?

you'll have to donate alot and wait a long time to get in the bowl. like i said earlier, most of us have had our tickets in families, etc for generations. like someone mentioned earlier, start donating now and try to find someone willing to sell you their season tickets in the meantime. you could have tickets in your name in a few years probably, but most likely in the uppers unless you can afford to donate several several thousand a year.

Please work this in the conversation with TAF, I am sure they will secure you lower bowl tickets to your liking.

Definitely plan to find an alternative while you wait. There are people, like me, that live too far away to make every game. I sell all or part of the season, depending on May finances, just to hold on to them another year. I understand how difficult getting lower bowl is. On top of that, LSU has made it more difficult for a new comer by putting additional weight in academic donations to get tickets.

I got on the wait list in the spring of 2006 for 4 tickets. That summer I received a phone call and got 4 tickets together. They are in the west upper but were the only option I had. I had never donated a single dollar to TAF prior to that. I'm in section 612 so my seats require no donation. I choose not to donate because I would have to contribute thousands to be able to move lower one day and the odds of getting 4 together if I do move are damn near impossible. I have been fortunate some how that I've gotten bowl game and away game tickets more than not for the times requested. I do also understand that I will have to pay much more than face for big time away games and bowl games.
