All I can think about this game is the 2001 SECCG when Tennessee was rolling toward a Rose Bowl BCSCG berth. All they had to do was defeat upstart LSU--who were good, but not that good yet. We all know how that turned out...

I applaud any Georgia fan who has enough class to admit that the opponent they will face is better and that their team will probably not win. Not many of the "so-called" sports analysts even give us that kind of credit.

There have been several seasons I knew LSU would not beat a certain team, and admitted it. That's the way college footall works, it can be cyclic. I respect GA for coming back after a horrible 2-game season opening start to win consistently and do respect them as a worthy opponent, but this is LSU's year to take it all. See you in Atlanta!

Remember this:

Georgia's marquee win is against Auburn

I would make every single player watch the Arkansas-LSU Game. Arkansas had control and when i few things went wwrong they quit and have never been the same since. I believe Georgia has a good shot at beating LSU, but they cannot give up like Arkansas did.

Due you picked out the only one out of 50 comments who feels this way.

EVERYBODY on that board thinks they are going to get their assess kicked. In fact, they are completely resigned to it.

Agreed, they have a better defense than Arky and essentially a home game for them. It will be a tough test. Can't wait

All I want to see is Georgia come out and play solid football. If that happens, I am happy.

I will not be disappointed with a well fought loss

Respect Georgia. Always respect your opponent. Les Miles has and will at all times. Become overconfident and lose your soul. Focus on the now...and execute one play at a time. The SEC is for grabs. Champions take nothing for granted and prepare each week.

Always be kind to an animal. If an animal feels disrespected, it will have a mighty bite. Praise Georgia and their season. When we respect our opponent , we are respecting ourselves and maintain focus. LSU is the better team but anything can happen in a 3 hour window.

The state of Georgia is full of Protestant heretic bastards, otherwise, I'd be pulling out the candles and plegarys to The Virgin Mary as we speak.

Wait, let me get this straight. Every other team's message board is disrespectful if they even suggest they have a chance? They're fans of their team. What do you want them to do? AND, don't underestimate Georgia. I think LSU will win, but Georgia is a much improved team from the beginning of the season.

Most of us are pretty confident we are going to lose. We are just happy to be an improving team. If Georgia comes out and competes admirably then win, or lose..I am happy

My brother is a retired UGA prof and feels the same way. I also applaude UGA for pulling themselves up after getting off to a terrible start. Good luck in your bowl appearance, but my enthusiasm for your success doesn't include the SECCG.

The UT/LSU game gives me pause as well. I was there too, when they frog-stomped our arse in the SECCG. I'll be happy when its over, assuming an LSU win.

Tonight feels good, though!

Ya'll have a coach that I respect and like. While I think that Arkansas would line up and beat ya'll at a neutral site, ya'll may match up better against us because you play better defense. I really like Aaron Murray (and he's still so young).

UGA's coaches and players have done an outstanding job because it would have been easy to pack it in after the early season losses - I still think USCe wins the east if they don't lose Garcia and Lattimore - but, dems the breaks, and if we can't win the conference, I'm glad it is UGA, and NOT USCe or Bama.

Against what teams? They're the only SEC team to not have to face LSU Bama or Ark.

They dont realize that with the exception of Bama, we have made EVERY one quit. It's like boxing with a guy 40 lbs heavier who is kicking your arse with body shots. After a while, you just want it to stop. Georgia, you're next.
