Robert Smith and LSU

Ok, so I normally don't comment on specific talking heads and their love or hatred of LSU because I know I am biased for LSU. But EVERY time this season I have seen Robert Smith talking about LSU he is always commenting how Bama is the better team or how LSU will not win the National Title, or LSU isn't a complete team, not the best team in our conference, etc, etc.
So what gives? I've never seen someone who so ardently paints LSU in a negative way EVERY TIME he opens his mouth. Who at LSU pissed in this guy's wheaties?

I really don't understand what his deal is, but I think it goes back to the Ohio State game in 07.

This is the most dominate LSU team I have ever seen. I'm not sure what Robert Smith is seeing when he watches LSU. He's an idiot.

I doubt Robert Smith, along with most other talking heads, has ever actually sat down and watched an entire LSU football game or any football game outside of their alma maters.

Yes, until last week you could have added Lou Holtz to that list of perennial LSU haters. I was proud of Lou when he stated that 'if LSU beats Arkansas they will have already beaten Nos. 2, 3, 6 and 10, lets just give them that National Championship'

Managed to win = bullshite. LSU has been steamrolling everyone.
Found a way to win: I can see this having some truth given the distractions that could have tripped us up...but we still found a way to kick everyone's arse.

Lou isn't nearly as biased as Smith. Lou says some crazy shite, but he'll give credit sometimes. Smith is too busy running his mouth about how illegitimate of a contender we are to give us any props.
