All of the news about him lateley makes me giggle thinking about how in an uproar people were about him getting a scholly.

CatsGoneWild has already fallen off the deep end.

that happened with other players Miles offered.
Williford was a two star.

I predict the same thing happening this yr with the kid from DeSoto... TM7 was a 3* until like the close of the class when he was changed to a 4* I believe

Bama get 3-4 stars bumped to 5 stars, i guess we get 2-3 stars bumped to 4 stars

great player and a great person. hate to see him go but if you're a potential top 10 pick you gotta leave early.

I think he might be faster than a 4.45 guy. West Virginia couldn't catch him and he caught that Kick returner in the Western Kentucky game like he was standing still. He hasn't gotten beat deep this year. He has legit 4.4, maybe 4.35 speed. My guess anyway.

The difference is his vertical leap. I was keeping up with Morris with local coaches during his senior year. He was measured at 5-11. That turned some scouts off. But the local coaches all said he played like a 6-1 corner because of his leaping ability.

We must have been the only one with an accurate 40 time. Mo is awesome.

I think that he didn't have any stars, and that that was because of a lack of film. Then, I think he quickly became a three star. But that's based only on my recollection of the comments on this board, so iffy at best.

quote:This was my recollection, as well. His film on Rivals was just one ridiculous QB scramble after another. He looked like Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl the way he would just run around with everybody chasing him and nobody able to catch him.

That post is greatness. I remember that and watching the video...not gonna say I didn't wonder why we offered him. Makes rankings really seem worthless. Would be a great service if they had the money to evaluate everybody properly.

People were more in an uproar about him then anyone well maybe a tie the josh jasper and the kickers we put on schollie.
It seems like people are starting to realize that stars dont always mean ish.
I also think it helps tremendously to have corners behind a star corner in our case Peterson.

Yeah, I also remember the Brad Wing offer getting a huge amount of flack from rantards.
I think he's panned out pretty well.
