I guess it just depends on what the philosophy is on what we/you bought. Did we buy the game as it exist, or did we buy the game as we believe it SHOULD be.

i bought it as it exist, with no bugs or glitches. If you were able to do something to streamline something later down the road due to some new technology or something gamebreaking, then that's DLC and i have a choice if i want to buy it or not

I believe most people expect those to be one in the same based on reviews and what not before release dates. It's the times in which we live. They have more access and resources to do this in house before release date.

I don't know if that's the question. This opens the can of worms about betas and makes me remember the MoH beta.

A lot of complaints about it were the graphics that popped on your screen when you got points. It was this red ribbon, it was kind of translucent, but it was obtrusive and players didn't like it. They eventually patched that out of the beta, showed something different, and that became the standard.

Now, betas are excellent ideas for fixing things like this, as far as presentation and party systems go.
