If you look on TD's front page look at the points for (PF)and points agianst (PA). Everyone is talking about how good the ARK offense is yet they have only scored 23 more points than us all year. PA, not even close. Teams have scored twice as much on them as we have allowed.

I'm sure we'll try to keep everything in front of us on defense, just like we've done all season with our "bend but not break" philosophy. I'm sure you guys will drive the field on us a few times, but definitely not every time you get the ball. Your offense will eventually make some mistakes.
I think your defense will be worn down in the 4th quarter, similar to our other opponents this year. That will allow us to control the game at that point.
I'm thinking it will be pretty close at halftime, but then LSU will pull away in the 2nd half.

The 2007 defense was decimated by injuries which created the perfect storm going up against a team with three future starting running backs in the NFL. Unless something bad happens at Ole Mrs this week, this defensive squad is substancially healthier than the '07 team. Arkansas is very good offensively and no one really expects to shut them down completely but it's highly unlikely they will be able to outscore the Tigers. More power to them if they can.

I live in Little Rock and it is just as bad here. I have often wondered where their hatred comes from and I can tell you that the Arkansas media does everything that they can to intensify this hatred. To listen to Bo Mattingly today was some of the worst radio I have heard since moving here 17 years ago.
Like you, I am curious for a legit answer as to why or what their hatred is born from.

You are absoutely correct. Bo Mattingly is, without a doubt, one of the worst, if not the worst radio show host I have ever heard. The only one who could rival him is TJ Carpenter. If you can get the Shawn and Wally show, give them a try. They are very fair and objective when it comes to other SEC schools. Hang in there in Little Rock and I will do the same in Bentonville.

I love it when the opposition is delusional. Why disabuse them of their faulty perceptions? Let them languish in their faulty appraisal of our team's merits. Then, when game day comes, let shock and awe rain down upon them until victory is secured by our superior force and talents. Our valiant warriors will then lead our happy throng in a rousing rendition of the "LSU Alma Mater". The battlefield will be strewn with the wreckage of their shattered dreams and then the happy tears of our valiant ones will nourish the home turf that is sacred to all true Tiger fans. Let the deluded ones remain in the dark until the bright glare of Tiger Stadium awakens them to their folly. In other words, we will kick their little squiqqly tails all the more because they underestimate us.

I hate Arkansas more than any other SEC team. Their entire state sucks dick.
They have the most obnoxious fans in the league, considering they have literally never won shite since joining the conference.
If I had to pick one game to win this year at the beginning of the season, it would have been Arkansas.

Arkansas is a terrible road team and they almost lost to Ole Miss and Vandy. If LSU loses, they don't deserve to go anywhere but they will not lose and they should not have lost last year.

As big of implications as the Bama game had, and I'm still elated we pulled that one out, the game I absolutely want to win the most is Arkansas.

Arkansas has beat us 3 out of 4, and the one we won was in OT.
The game taking place at the end of the SEC grind, along with it being a day game a day earlier than usual, combines to make this a more difficult game, regardless of the opponent.
There is no reason to take this game lightly. Facing a subpar Ole Miss team will help, though. Arkansas has been helped by a less than difficult schedule this year, which is not usually the case for them.
Arkansas' performances against Vandy and Ole Miss are definitely cause for optimism, but given the history of this matchup, even though it's at home, gives me more concern than Georgia would in the Georgia Dome.

The fact that we have lost 3 outta 4 really pisses me off. I will be livid if we lose. I know it's only a game, but it would be hard to take.
