Listening to the ESPN (104.9 The Horn) affiliate here in Austin and they just reported that Terry Sabin was in Austin a few weeks ago looking at homes/land. Now a lot of people have vacation homes here so it may be nothing but it sure sounds fishy to me. :popcorn:

I agree with all of you but I just don't like taking the home runs out of the game and that is what this ballpark does. I don't care if it's LSU or not I just don't like small ball.

Any word on a new deal with ESPN or making our own network? I saw where the BIG12 is fixing to ink a new deal with ABC,ESPN & Fox for something like 2.6 Billion.

I live in BIG12 country like all the Aggies. The talk here is that the BIG12 is in no hurry to get to 12 much less 14 or 16. The way they seam to be looking at things is the new deal with the SEC VS. BIG12 bowl makes there conference legit. They know that whatever the money deal for this bowl is going to be they will only have to split it between 10 teams vs. our 14.
I'm not real happy with this bowl deal. I like the concept but not with the BIG12. They are still very disfunctional with Dodds from UT really running the whole show there.

They are saying each school in the BIG12 would get 22 Mill a year. So based off of your math we would get 27 mill or so a year. That's alot of money.

I live in the Austin area and the BIG12 is fixing to sign a TV deal with both ESPN & Fox for 2.2 BILLION dollars over 14 years.
My first thought was if the BIG12 can get that much the SEC should be able to get more. Does anyone here know when or if we are able to renegotiate our contract with ESPN?

I don't think it can hurt. I think your real problem is that your school is in the middle of the sticks. Not to mention most Ags are pretty wierd.
In my view it's an OK hire but you guys have to hit a homerun on the DC. I would throw the bank at Smart. He could prove that he can do it without Sabin and then get a head coach gig down the road.

If I were the AGS I would throw alot of money to Smart as the DC... He could then prove that he can do it without Sabin and then off to be a head coach.

If you look on TD's front page look at the points for (PF)and points agianst (PA). Everyone is talking about how good the ARK offense is yet they have only scored 23 more points than us all year. PA, not even close. Teams have scored twice as much on them as we have allowed.

Just wanted to take my crow. I have been one of those guys who did not believe that Miles was the man footed the job. I thought that he showed flashes of being a great coach but always seemed to be a few steps behind. From his awkward pressers to his terrible clock management I was always ready to pounce on "The Hat".
Not anymore coach!!!! Give me the crow anyway you would like I am here to eat my share. This team is amazing and they are mostly young guys. In other words the future looks very bright for us Tiger fans and we have you to thank.
As a fan I think we sometimes forget that the coaches can learn from there mistakes and get better at there jobs. You coach have done this in a way that I would have never guessed you would. I can honestly say that I was wrong and that I would not trade you for any coach in the country.
