Rumor = Lee didnt start/play much because he skipped class

Miles stated last Monday that he wasn't naming a starter for WKU. Did Lee miss class Monday morning?

Miles never said it was a game time decision, watch the press conference. He said the decision was made Thursday or Friday. At one point he said it was a "game decision", meaning a one game deal. Guilbeau, being the no talent assclown hack that he is, incorrectly reported the quote as a "game time decision".

OK, but...

LSU's sports information office said an hour before the game that Lee would start. Tiger Stadium's public address announcer listed Lee as the starting quarterback moments before the game to a loud ovation

Bama game would prove otherwise.

Go look at some of jj's games from last season and see who was the better Qb at the time. But JJ still got all the starts. One game means nothing.

JJ is not capable of putting up the stats that JL put up throughout the first 8 games, he doesn't have the decision making skills to throw 13 tds and only 1 int. Granted i do believe JL was playing to his highest potential and fell from greatness in the Alabama game, i still think he is the better option. The offense just works better through him.

Why does everyone care so much about which very average QB starts? LSU is the best team in the country, and this is most likely the best LSU team ever. Sit back and enjoy it. I would think any one with half a brain would realize it doesn't really matter which QB is back there right now. This team has been so good at every other position, the QB spot is almost irrelevent. Why so much emotion and anger? Weird really.

Lsu sports information director does not equal les miles.

Since it seems like this was a team rules thing, isn't it obvious now that this meltdown was extreme and nonsensical?

Plus if it is a team rules thing, guilbeau looks like more of an arse than originally thought.

Hopefully the rumor is true so we can get back to using both QBs. We need both to win. In this last game with only JJ playing a majority of the time, our offense looked completely different and had a lot of trouble against a bad team in the first half. Stick with what's working - start Lee, bring JJ in for the change of pace, profit.

It doesn't really matter what the SID or the recorded lineup on the big screen says.

1 is a bit above average and 1 is a good bit below average.

This is all a very sad situation. How do you have a kid come back from all the adversity Lee went through over his early career, come in and play as one of the most efficient QB's in the country leading your team to an undefeated #1 ranking, then you have 1 bad half of football and you get you starting position pulled.

I don't get it.

not really. Both are average at the position. But the coaches have put them both in position to succeed which is more than the former coach could do.

Also, before shadygate, JJ was the coaches' clear choice to be the starting QB. That must mean he's better, right?

Damn. So this means right now JJ would have at least 2500 yards passing, over 20 TD passes, and less than three picks, right?

Breaking team rules. What is hard about understanding that?

You've missed the point.

I hope it was. That would make this all make sense.

Only if he knew and continues to write on this. Otherwise, he's spot on, and you know it.

Explain.

I would never take what the SID says as gospel. Or what the video boards say.

I have seen the video boards announce receivers lineman and running backs that were "starters" that ended up not starting but we didn't see a meltdown over that.
