Oregon is playing lights out right now. I'm not convinced it wouldn't be a closer game.

In New Orleans? And Oregon thought Dallas was a home game for LSU,

Well, it's obvious don't you think. We are a lot like Stanford.

They have big slow DLineman, we have big fast DLineman,

They have big slow linebackers, we have moderately sized extremely fast linebackers.

They play 4 or 5 slow dlineman, we rotate 8 or 9 really fast dlineman.

They have fairly decent corners with decent speed, we have really fast cover corners 2 deep. Plus we have the Chief.

We would have another 6 weeks to get ready they had one week.

We have a really big offensive line with a waive of running backs of all sizes and all fast. Stanford not so much.

So there is a lot of similarities.

Bring one, bring all. Ducks would be beaten worse the second time around. They can't play defense out here...I'm stuck watching it at the high school, college and pro level. Bottom line, they're not going to play again. Oregon is going to face Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.

Herbie and the Berger were prattling on again about the Ducks' speed trumping stronger defenses.

How quickly they forget.

If Lou the geezer had any idea what he was talking about LSU would be playing Notre Dame for the NC. And Notre Dame would have already won the last 10 national titles. But Lou Holtz doesn't know what he is talking about.

Doug Flutie picked OU (not sure if he meant Ok. St. or not) and whoever the guy in the studio with him was, picked Bama. Doesn't really matter what they think.

we also had the "Shady's" controversy freshly hanging out there the 1st go

hopefully there'd be no such "issue" going around come round 2

I would love to see Bama and Oregon play at then end of this year (but probably can't happen due to the sugar and rose bowl conference ties). I think Oregon takes that one, but would be a really good game.

good. I would be happy if we dropped to #2 as well. As long as we win out I don’t care what these entertainers say or do.

Elmer Fudd just said on CFB Final that if Oregon plays LSU again, the Ducks win.

If USC plays well in Eugene, they'll take Oregon out of the BCSCG discussion.

It'll be fun to watch every Bammer cheer on the Trojans next Saturday.

Im going to let Chip Kelly respond to Lou for me:

Chip Kelly after loss to LSU when looking at the LSU players size and speed and athleticism he said, "We just dont see those type of players where we play".

Thus, the reason why they are able to run up and down the field against teams like Stanford, Washington, Cal and so on. They dont have to worry about the Mingo's, Montgomery's, Honey Badger's, Claiborne's, Brook's and 3rd and Chavis' over in the Pac 12.
