I don't know why I feel so betrayed. I really thought he was a good, admirable guy.
Yea, I'm no Big 10 or Penn State supporter, but JoePa has always been one of the sports figures that I respect most. I just wish something different would have been done and he would be able to go out as a hero for stopping those heinous crimes long ago and saving so many people so much trouble.

Don't get me wrong, I literally hate this happened to JoPa, but he brought it on himself. Really wish it had ended another way.
Someone said this and I feel the same way -Even though I have no PennSt connections, I feel let down and betrayed because I expect upright citizens to be a beacon and for someone like JoePa who has preached "the right way" as a mantra for 60 years to do this makes me feel depressed and angry.
WTF is wrong with these people that they condone such behavior and think of only their egos and work and their legacy.
frick you Joe Pa for making the world a worse place than it already was.
frick you for giving us fewer people to look up to.
I hope that for your sake, you find forgiveness somewhere, because the guilt of what has been done to the innocence of so many children is just too much to comprehend.

A woman with a British accent talking about college football just does not seem right.

Its disturbing how delusional most of penn st is regarding this.

I think I also was always impressed for some reason that he didn't rake in the millions that other coaches make ... didn't he not take a pay raise in like forever???

He has not had a job for like forever. He had free sideline passes.

Yep. He's a bitch too, but that is the kind of power Paterno wielded over his subjects. Joe wanted this story quiet and it stayed quiet.
