I made a hunt Saturday morning here in EBR mainly so that I could help pass the time before the game started. Last week I found a big white oak raining acorns that the deer were destroying. I moved a climber into the area and this guy came in just as expected on Saturday morning at around 8:30.
Thought about blocking out my face but figured I could trust the OB

Thanks... but I wasn't very happy with the shot. I was shooting through some thick brush and didn't put it where I wanted it. Luckily that bloodrunner did its job. He ran about 200 yds. but left a lot of blood that made for an easy tracking job.

I know what you mean. Not in the ideal spot, but anytime you kill a buck with a bow, it'll be considered a good shot to me.
