Not a great idea when 130's are very much tried and proven.

i shoot 130 grain out of my 270wsm, super fast.. 110 grain would be very fast. 130 should be low as you go bro, why the need to drop down to a 110? if shooting that just shoot a 243 100grain

That's 5 more grains than I throw. Still, i would probably use the 130 in the .270.

Was reading about the Ballistics of the 110 grain and was just curious.

I'm sure a 110 grain .277 caliber bullet is pretty short. Probably will penetrate poorly.

yea it would be a hot round for sure, super fast..but personally id stick with the 130 out of the 270.

I have had great success with Winchester 130gr ballistic silver tips. I would think that the 110gr would be more of a varmint round. Although it would also work for long range doe head shots

Agreed. I used 130 gr in my .270 for the longest and then I realized that I've never had a shot on a deer 100 yards or further, and I can only think of 1 stand I hunt that there's ever a possibility of a 150 yard shot. Most of my shots are 60-70 yards or closer. I use 150 gr core lokts now.

This is my problem. Last hunt I made, I had 11 deer with the closest one at 275 yards.

I have a .243WSSM that I shoot 100 grain BT's out of. That is fast. It turns whatever meat it hits into jelly. Varmint or neck shooter's gun.

Try the Hornady 140 gr Light mag in your .270. excellent ballistics, fast and good knock down.

I've always shot 150s out of mine, except for some hot hand loads that my grandpa gave me when he gave me the gun. Balistic tip but no idea on weight.

I shoot Hornady 139 gr. out of my .280 and it is plenty of bullet and fast as well...
