Auburn ref game was louder to me. That game pierced my ears. It was very loud, but not like TS.

Its the road trip where I find the fans the nicest.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire game day atmosphere. I was able to visit multiple tailgates and had a great time. The LSU tailgate next to Denny Chimes was fairly ridiculous.
Bama fans were understandably pretty somber after the game.
Post game traffic...ugh, at least 2 hours just to get out of town.

sure didn't see any purple or gold in the overhead blimp shots of the stadium! Our fans had to be greatly outnumbered!

Bama fans were great. Our grill wouldn't work so some Bama fans let us use there's which really saved our tailgate.
Only negative was when early in the game there was a pass play that looked like it could have been pass interference on us but it wasn't called. I jokingly said to my buddy that it was uncatchable and a gump behind me said "Uncatchable? Are you fricking retarded?" I had to explain to him what a joke and obvious sarcasm were
After the game we got a lot of handshakes and "good games" from everyone.
I had a blast. I still can't believe I was there.

I did. You could see the cluster of LSU fans near the band in the corner of one endzone.
Bama is known for spreading visiting fans out all over the stadium. Something LSU is just now doing.

Did you think otherwise? The game was in T-town after all.

I attended home games for years and only over the past couple of years have gone to most of the away games as well...honestly, the worst treatment I have seen for visiting fans has been at LSU and it is not even close....the fans at every away game that I have attended over the past couple of years have been a pleasure to be around....

Awesome LSU crowd...

Purple doesn't show up on television in the upperdeck.
But more importantly, why the exclamation point and shock that they had more fans at a home game than we had?

I didnt think it was that loud. I was near field level too. I thought 2007 was louder. they were pretty consistant though

Have you ever been to Gainesville?
Gator fans are the meanest in the SEC. LSU fans can be obnoxious, but the worst I've ever been treated at an away game was in the Swamp...and that was after an LSU win.

Most fans were great but we did have a young punk behind us yelling profane crap about LSU. Alabama folks calmed him down and he wanted to fight some LSU fans after the game. Overall, barely took any crap from fans before the game. Great atmosphere and good fans

Just hate to say it's louder than ours. It seems like everyone is on top of the field. It's very intimate if that's the right word for 100k screaming bammers. Awesome place for sure.
On top of the field? Tha frick?
There's a mile of space between the field and the stands on the sidelines in BDS.

had a great time...ride back to birmingham was a bitch though

Perspective from a Bama fan, I thought it was great on both sides. I saw some punks, but frankly when you get 102,000 people together, some of that is to be expected. I thought the noise was awesome to begin, but the missed field goals really deflated the home crowd. Congrats to LSU.

We were on row 25....best section of folks I have ever sat with.

that was very noticable. i thought they would have been hootin', hollerin', and dancin' after losing a game like that.
any bama fan that had anything to say after the game was very complimentary of lsu and wished us well.

We sat on home sideline, row 40ish at the 35. Folks were very nice even though my wife screamed as loud as she could "Let's go Tigers, defense" the entire game when BAMA had the ball. I could tell they were very proud of their tradition explaining a lot of things about the stadium and the highlights being shown at the beginning of the game. One person told us at half-time that my wife was causing her blood pressure to rise but wasn't ugly about it. Very quiet after the game with a lot of congratulations to us although you could see how upset they were. One kid about 12 years old told us to F off. One dude told us that we should be screaming in their faces about the victory.

One bammer and his old lady got into it as she was blaming saban for getting out coached. The old man was having none of that talk and was dog cussing her and telling her she was worse than those blankety blank auburn fans turning on their own. He was yelling at her saying NICK SABAN CHANGED OUR LIVES FOREVER YOU blankety blank!! He back slapped her and then some security guys broke it up

They aren't feeling the love today! LSU fans are now banned from their board by the Senior Admin who said this: "I think they know better than to come here right now..."
