I hope you're right Nick

I honestly was just happy for the Saints to be in the Super Bowl and really wasn't expecting to win to be honest. I'm more nervous about this game.

When the Saints got into the Super Bowl it was like we already won.
Winning was just gravy.
This is a little different.
LSU has beaten Bama many times before.

Im only a moderate Saints fan and no, not nervous.
You mean a bandwagoner, but I like how you use moderate.

I was 10x more nervous for the SB

I was way more nervous before the Super Bowl. I actually lost sleep that week.

Cmon, now, there is no comparison.
Playing for position to win 3rd title in 9 seasons is nowhere close to XLIV.

Does this need a sarcasm denotation?

Way more nervous for the Saints SB game. That WAS the marbles. This is for the marbles.

10X more nervous for the Saints game. Only because I figured it will be the last time ever we would get there. LSU has a chance to be great for a long time.

I was a lot more nervous for the Super Bowl. Nerves went away after recovered that surprise onside kick though. Knew it was our night then.
I'd punch a baby if Miles pulled one of those off this weekend.

This. Plus Peyton Manning scared the shite out of me

I was MUCH more nervous about the NFCCG then the SB. I am not nervous about the game Sat. I'm excited about it, but I really think we are going to win

I'm just curious how your personal nervousness involved in the anticipation of this game compares to the Saints playing in the super bowl.
I'm a diehard Saints fan and diehard LSU fan. The two weeks leading up to Super Bowl 44 is similar in terms of emotion and hype. I would have never thought that a regular season college football game would quite reach the hype of the NFL Super Bowl, but this match up has IMO.

I think us die hard fans were much more nervous for the NFCCG. That was as screwed up in the brain as I've been in a while. The SB was something I was nervous about, but we made it. Winning was icing on the cake.

I was rooting for the colts.
No, I wasnt nervous... I couldnt have cared less.

more nervous for the SUper Bowl. Just think of the context.
LSU has won 2 titles the last 8 years. The Saints had a whole history of no Super Bowl
having Peyton Manning on the opposite sideline is not soothing. I was at the game, and my knees were shaking just about all game. And i might be the calmest person you ever meet.
