Walsh (exhibition) is this coming Sunday. November 6th. November 11th is the opener against Wright State. I'll be at the Jackson State game on November 18th.
Oh you're right.
I'd offer to meet up this week for the IU game but I may be out of town for it.

Im really pumped about this season. I havent done much team research though. Who do we have to replace Lighty and Deibler?

Is Sullinger going to be dominant this season or what? The Mark Titus absence will still be felt.

I think so for sure. I really expect Aaron Craft to step up his game this year as well.

Speaking of which, him and The Villain Evan Turner still go at it:

@thekidet You dropped out of college, don't have a job, stopped shaving, and just said that you need dimes - I'm pretty sure you're homeless

@clubtrillion lol some of that last week maybe true but nothin changes the fact that ur an "author" (which means ur broke) and bench warmer
Apparently we got a guy who transferred from BC (I think), sat out last season but should be a starter.
ETA: Here's a good write up of what we should expect to see from OSU LINK

Coach Matta was quoted as saying 6'7" Freshman Forward Sam Thompson is the best athlete he has EVER coached. That says something considering all the NBA talent he has coached!!! This Ohio State team is Final 4 or bust IMO!! Starting line-up IMO:
C Amir Williams 6'11" Fr
F Jared Sullinger 6'9" So
G Deshaun Thomas 6'7" So
G William Buford 6'6" Sr
PG Aaron Craft 6'2" So
Bench:
I expect Jordan Siebert to get a lot of playing time at the 2 spot, 6'9" transfer (Boston College) Evan Ravenell to spare Sullinger-Williams underneath and Freshman Shannon Scott and Sam Thompson to get serious minutes as well! The question is what are they going to do with freak athlete JD Weatherspoon???

I wonder if Deshaun learned how to pass in the off season.

Deshaun see hoop..Deshaun shoot at hoop! Lets hope he has grown up and understands the game better. Although when he gets shooting and on a roll...look out! lol

Do we have a spot up guy anything close to Deibler?
Posted on 11/1/11 at 4:56 pm to Buckeye Backer
Cajuns have a player like that too, Josh Brown. When he's not spraining his knee, he's fricking shooting every time he sees the rim.

Lets be realistic for a sec, John Diebler is the all time leader in 3 pointers in Big Ten history. Replacing him individually isnt possible, but having 4 guys that can all shoot makes the team a little bit more dangerous in terms of game planning. Buford can flat out shoot, Thomas when hot may be the best on the team and Craft will shoot more this year as well. It will be up to Siebert and Scott to score points off the bench for guard play. Remember, the addition of Williams, Ravenell and Thompson to help Sullinger underneath will make this team a beast in the post, thus creating easier shots for those 4 guards mentioned. This team has all the pieces to win the NCAA title and that should be their goal...period!

No, not at the Carrier Dome. On a real aircraft carrier -- the USS Carl Vinson.
I don't care for either team but I'm watching that game!

They said if it rains, they are going to move it below deck to the hangar area.
