it is always one more thing. when bama is beat, then it would be show me arkansas, then it is the SECC then the NC title, then it is complaints about the play calling in the win, then it is the recruits who got left out in the 2012 Signing day.

LSU has gone 19-2 since 2010 with a Top 8 NR'ing at the end of 2010 and a current #1 BCS ranking 8 games into 2011 and still some are not satisfied and need more proved to them.

I call those suffering from an "entitlement syndrome" or those with an 8 yr old mentality of "I want...I want...I want".

LSU has 3 NC's in like 125 yrs, 10 SEC titles in like 75 yrs, and as a school from the start we are winning 64% of our games.

If we can continue to play as we have, we will be in line for our 5th 11 win season and 5th Top 10 finish in our last 7 seasons.

That to me will simply be freaking amazing whether or not we win at Bama in 2 weeks, but each to our own.

If they don't go to Atlanta this season was a huge disappointment.

If they lose to Bama in a close one, but finish the regular season 11-1 and go to a BCS bowl, I don't see that as a disappointment. The team over there in Tuscaloosa looks pretty good too.

However, the first goal is to win the West. This team, as well as any ever fielded by LSU, is built to do that. I suppose it would be disappointing to fall short of that.

We all know the guy could recruit.....and the spoils of his success there are bearing fruit this season. LSU's unmatched depth is a big reason the Tigers are dominating in the second halves of games.

Truth be told folks.....you have to seriously tip your hat to Les Miles for the job he's done this season with distractions. Forget the talent for a second and admire the UNBELIEVEABLE job Miles has done with the constant off-the-field issues that have come up in succession so far. Honestly, that's no small feat...regardless of the talent on the team.

Les Miles deserves "coach of the year" thus far in 2011. I'm not sure that can be tarnished....even if we fall to Bama. The guy deserves a TON more credit for the job he's done. Locally and nationally.

I don't see how Bama can beat us after watching them struggle against an awful Tennessee team. I guess we will see

Nick didn't have them ready out of the gate, but anyone not able to "see" how #1 or #2 BCS ranked Bama could beat us at BAMA has to be college football blind. imo

A college head coach is only as good as the players and assistant coaches around him. Les has continued to attract talent during his tenure.

He is only two losses away from being the most retarded coach in LSU history. He is getting love now but I promise a couple losses and many in the Tiger nation will abandon him almost instantly

I think most of us saw a warning flag or two, but most attacking Coach were not playing attention to the SEC/college football landscape that has changed pretty dramatically since 05.

I'll just say, it feels pretty freaking awesome to be a LSU fan!

I defended him from day 1. I am amazed at how quickly fans turn on him. My post was made to point out the people who admitt they were wrong will be the first to call for his head if we lose two games.

Might be a tad harsh, but I get your point.

Sometimes I think we become so ate up with concern bout being the best that we lose sight of how freaking amazing is the ride we are currently taking.

Winning at Bama would be great, but the ride getting to that game has already been great!

I said all along you people were a bunch of Meauxrons and you didn't know what you were talking about. We will beat Bama because of our coaching not our talent.

The Miles of yesterday and the Miles of today are 2 different coaches. Give him credit for having done so, some never learn.

I know that he has changed. I'm not saying I was wrong to criticize him. I'm not interested in that argument. I'm saying I was wrong to think that the things I saw wrong in him outweighed the positives he brings. Obviously there is more than one way to skin a cat, and Miles's way is working. The program is strong, and he can evidently build a team that gets the most out of its talent.
