“They don’t tend to have the athletes that we have here at LSU, but their coordinators do a great job of putting their players in a position to be successful.”

It's true, based on overall talent. It can be taken as a compliment to their program - doing more with less overall talent.

However, an offensive player saying that about Auburn is probably putting his life in danger - ballsy.

True story, Shep.

Although it can be taken as a backhanded compliment.

I knew Mo would regret cutting it back to avoid the quarterback. Figured the other players would razz him about that.

Also, lots of choice quotes for Team Lee in that article.

Didn't read far enough to get to Shep's quote...

Who gives a shite if it pisses Auburn off??? Do you thinkAuburn wasn't already fired up to play the #1 team in the country???? Come on ppl... grow some balls. You can't live your life worried about how every little word is gonna effect others. Say what you have to say as long as you back it up and we have done a great job of backing it up this year.

Auburn is young, inexperienced and lack depth. When the 2nd half rolls around, we will see that what shep said is true.

That’s a very competitive team,” Shepard said. “They’ve got great athletes, they have a great scheme on both sides of the ball.
