Would Bama and Auburn move to the East ? If I'm rolling with the Panzer's, I haven't seen it. So

Only 1 would need to move to the East. Likely Auburn.

Why not? Texas and Missouri are more to the west than the state of Alabama!

From a geographical standpoint anyways!!!

Because then we would have 6 teams in the west and 8 in the east. Simple math.

no, you don't understand, If you add two new teams to the West and move two original west teams to the east you have an imbalance

I'm assuming then that Bama stays in the west, naturally they are gonna say that they just MUST keep their rivalry with Tennesssee because they know we in turn, get stuck with the tougher permanent East draw in Florida (even though Florida happens to be down this year).

I see what you are saying. The East already has 6 teams now

doze,

There's some talk on the A&M boards that LSU will haze us by giving us Florida as a new permanent SEC West opponent.

What I've heard is:

-Missouri to the east (if you draw up the map, it becomes more of a NE/SW boundary as Missouri is closer to Knoxville, Lexington, and Nashville than they are to College Station, Fayetteville, Baton Rouge, or Tuscalloosa)

-Arkansas/Missouri would be the permanent rivalry

-South Carolina/A&M would be another one.

Geographically, it makes sense to either do that or make the dividing line the Alabama/Mississippi Border (which would move Vanderbilt to the West)

makes sense.

Or do a North/South split:

North
Mizzou, KY, Vandy, TN, USC, UGA, Arky

South
TX A&M, LSU, MS St, Ole Miss, Bama, Auburn, FL

OR a true East/West:

West
TX A&M, Mizzou, Arky, LSU, Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss St

East
Bama, Auburn, FL, UGA, TN, KY, USC

I heard that:

Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
LSU
Tennessee
Texas A&M

...will be in a new division called "Legends",

While:

Arkansas
Kentucky
Mississippi State
Missouri
Ole Miss
South Carolina
Vanderbilt

...will be in a new division called "Losers".

Why would Aggies be in the Legends again?

Is it because they haven't won a post season game in a decade?

I like the True East/West split idea! We can keep Florida as our permanent or switch it to Auburn or Alabama.

looks promising and somewhat balanced.

Current records:
27-17 for the West
32-15 for the East

Do you really believe that's why Bama is trying to preserve the TSIO? Because they want to srew LSU?
