1. MLB Kevin Minter - Barely ever played prior to this year and has improved it seems almost every week this year and is becoming a factor on more and more plays being more and more of a playmaker

2. DT Bennie Logan - Where was this guy last year? He has just been making play after play after play this year. No one thought he would start this year much less play nearly as much as he has and he has been just as much a playmaker inside as Brockers

3. QB Jarrett Lee - This one is obvious to anyone IMO. The kid just gets it this year, only 1 INT in over 100 pass attempts...amazing from where he has come from

EDIT - FB James Stampley deserves a mention. Totally forgot about him...he has improved more than ANYONE on the team IMO.

Especially #3. It's almost like Quinn Johnson is back there again.

Lee did fine last year. Not a lot of improvement, really. Ironic, in that it took a slip up by JJ for him to get deserved playing time. Karma's a bitch, ain't it, Les? Lee deserved a heck of a lot more time than he was granted a year ago.

Really can't judge the offense from last year to this year. They were weighed down by the offensive oppression that is Gary Crowton.

I wouldn't say RR has necessarily improved rather, he is just being utilized.

Randle should double his career numbers this year alone.

Well then what do you consider improving? Stats? How can you judge a player's improvement? He looks faster? He looks stronger? Rueben seems especially more active at getting open and getting YAC.

I agree with this.

But it has a lot to do with the offense we're running. It's difficult to get open/get YAC when your offensive coordinator refuses to utilize the middle of the field, refuses to use play action, and refuses to take advantage of mismatches in the secondary.

That's why I give pretty much everyone on the offense a pass from 2008-2010.

Stamply is on there because he was just flat out whiffing on blocks last year and this year he's been solid.
