Not for the fake punt. This guys has been dropping them inside the 10 as good or better than any kicker on any level of football. IMO LSU and Bama defenses are very close, but having Wing as a punter may be the deciding factor.

I personally appreciate the swagger of the fake punt. Represents this team well IMO.

Wing at WVU was single greatest Game by punter since mike scifres was MVP of chargers / colts playoff game 4 years ago

No need to choose, one or the other, here. It was his punting ability that essentially set up the fake.

I watched his postgame interview on Inside LSU football last night and the kid is all class.
Apologized to everyone including the UF players because it wasn't his intention to rub the TD in their faces.
So glad this guy is at LSU

I like everything about this guy. I even like the way he holds the ball for Alleman on field goals. Now that teams know he can run like that, it adds a whole new dimension to the kicking game. I think he is the real deal.

Well I'm not disclosing the fake, it was great. I'm saying the fake is what all the talk is about and there should be more talk about how consistant he's been with punts inside the 20.

The best part about it was that the coaching staff called for the punt after the penalty. Wing took that one to the house on his own! The kid's got balls for sure. No one expected him to run it after the penalty.
