Was discussing this with a UF co-worker and he reminded me of the arse whoopin Grossman put on us.

obvious ones:
Rex Grossman in 2001 (464 yards, 5 TD's, 44-15 UF)
Freshman Shaun Alexander in 96 (291 yards, 4 TD's, 26-0 Bama)
McFadden in 2007 (206 yards, 3 TD's, 50-48 Ark)

others:
Kenny Irons in 2005 in a loss.(218 yards, 1 TD, 20-17 LSU) and one long run through all 11 defenders.

any other performances worthy here??

Saw Emmitt Smith and Willie Gault (different games) in the 80's. Both ran up and down TS field like they were at a track meet.

Shaun Alexander. Dominant. That was a beatdown.

The Mcfadden performance was really strong considering how good our D was that year, but at that point the Tiger defense worn down and very nagged by injuries. Close game that went to OT.

I know I was at the Florida game in 2001, and I recall that we were beaten badly, but I really do not recall the performance of Grossman so much, but I am sure it was quite strong.

given the circumstances (his youth vs. our defense), what Chris Leak did in 03 was pretty impressive. we sacked him a lot, and hit him more, but he made some nice passes when he had time to throw

Rextopher in 2001.

Passing Cmp-Att-Int Yds TD Long Sck
-------------------------------------------
Rex Grossman 22-32-1 464 5 63 1

Two receivers over 100 yards and could have had more had ball coach not put in Brock Berlin to throw a pick. The LSU faithful cheered as he didn't go to LSU and frick him, that's why.

Post script on Brock:

Passing Cmp-Att-Int Yds TD Long Sck
-------------------------------------------
Brock Berlin 4-9-1 40 1 18 0

DIAF for that TD at the end though.

Saw these on TV and was glad I wasnt there.

I recall Oregon State had some big white WR that tore us up in 2004. Maybe his numbers werent extraordinary but he really seemed unstoppable that night.
