“We’re all talking two weeks ago about how much difference the fans and crowds going to make to the LSU people. Well, LSU played well in front of 62,000 of our people and then turned around and went home and played a 1-4 Kentucky team at noon with 95,000 people there. You want to talk about an elite program? That’s one. I don’t know about this place.

Did the WVU fans boo one of their players as well?

He's talking about how their stands were relatively empty, especially the student section, for their Bowling Green game. Made their school look bad on TV.

I bet the fans and administration at WVU loved hearing this.

Saban did this when he first came to LSU as well. Not sure if it was his introductory press conference or shortly after he took the job, but A reporter asked a question along the lines of how intimidating an evironment Tiger Stadium was. Saban responded that he heard all you have to do is get an early lead on LSU and the fans folded.

Sometimes you just have to call 'em like you see 'em.

Geaux to 14:49

95,000 fans?

Have to say, despite the compliments to LSU, it's pretty obvious that WVU coach Dana Holgorsen cannot count. In his defense though, our attendance wasn't 40,000 either.

Dana obviously wants to coach LSU. This dude is known for never staying in one place. Any amount of success at WVU and he is gone.
