i love the way some on here declare wins or losses before the games are even played. last week we were a lock for the nc game and now there's no way we can beat bama. bama's defensive strategy tonight was exactly the same as against us last year; shut down the run and make the qb beat you. and we did. they are not going to shut down our running game unless our OL keeps getting dinged and we have to switch everybody around (like we did tonight) on short notice. yes, they will slow it down. and i think we are a better passing team. what we cannot do and still beat them is drop the number of passes we did today. i've never seen that many drops (eight or nine) on passes that could have been caught. anyways, we have to beat florida, ut and auburn for the bama game to be that epic.

I agree lets take the next 2 weeks off with a definite win against Fla and a loss against bama. We should at least be ready for the Tennesee game though

That 2008 game against the gumps went into overtime.
The 2009 game, well, we very easily could have won it. Funny how Petersen intercepts a ball and takes 3 steps in bounds but it is ruled out, yet tonight Bama got catches while going out of bounds and they were ruled complete.
The only thing I worry about at that game are the refs - which are always suspect when playing in Tuscaloosa.

Our run game BLOWS compared to theirs. We just don't have backs on the level of bamas

Come on, dreaux. I'm not taking anything away from TR, the guy is a bull and will not stop until he's made to.

After him it's Lacy. Then?

And our running game?

It looks like we don't have as good of a run game because that's pretty much their MO. TR rushed for more than 30 times. That's a bit odd.

You're better than this.

ok. Maybe that was a little much. Here is my issue, our schedule was frontloaded. I am afraid that we might have peaked already.

I am also troubled by the fact that is seems our whole team has been built and coached to stop the spread teams like oregon and miss state.

Our oline is not opening holes, and ware has not produced like i had thought.

would like to have had lacey.

In 1993, LSU took one its worst teams into Tuscaloosa to play the unbeaten defending national championship gumps. That day, Pigs flew and LSU left with a victory.
