By kicking someone in the head?

A fight is one thing but you have to know when the fight is over in my opinion.

I am not sure if this is what happened, but lets say that the Lowry guy was all drunk and being aggressive towards his ex and other females and one of the players says something to him about laying off the girls and he reacts causing a brawl. Do you consider that an embarrassment?

I am not saying that I think this is what happened, I am just curious if your opinion would change if you knew for a fact it all started because a football player was protecting some girl?

I was talking about the WVU incident.

I just really don't care how intelligent someone may or may not be.

Great win today!!!! Guys played no where near to par and won.

Most guys played pretty well. Anyone who knows anything about football knows it only takes one guy not doing his job on offense to botch a play. It's the ultimate team sport in my opinion.

I had no problem with the effort on the field today by any of the players.

They're supposed to be college students. Personally, I'm more interested in the success of LSU academically than I am of their athletic programs.

But I guess that makes me crazy.

I agree with this, which is why we should drop the pretense of some of them being "student"-athletes .

When 85 people represent a university of thousands I'll worry about academics.

I'm talking about peppering sentences with "uhs", "ums" and "likes". Not about using "uh huh" which is generally accepted as a statement denoting agreement. It's more common, but not unacceptable

Sure. I just wish our players would conduct themselves in a manner that made them look like they're a part of the university and not just football players.

Neither one. People have the right to voice opinion or displeasure on something. Boo-birds were common during the Charlie Mac years.

Spelling is just a shortened way to text or tweets.

Which is a bigger embarassment to the University?

A. LSU's starting QB getting arrested and making national news...?
B. Booing by fans
C. Player's spelling in tweets

Very few people will read the tweets. Everyone watching the SEC Network heard the booing, and I'd put money on ATH talking about it Monday.

I'll by that
