Bama fans have been calling in XM radio today to complain

about LSU being ranked #1 and are asking questions?
"Ok, how can a team allow 483 yards of passing and still be considered an elite defense like Alabama and be ranked ahead of us. Could you please explain why you feel LSU' defense is as good as ours, I just don't see it?"
Then Eddie George proceeds to answer the question, by saying it was very clear to him the strategy was to keep WVU in front and make them earn it, hitting them hard, make them work the clock and the feild and get turnovers, which worked perfectly. He said minus a few missed tackles, he was very impressed with LSU's defense and added that LSU is the clear #1 right now as he has seen Oklahoma and LSU in person... Basically indicated there was a significant distance in team talent etc... "LSU is the best team in CFB" Keep in mind Eddie George is a hall of fame running back and Heisman winner... I couldn't contain my smile listening to that..
Silence on the other end of the phone
Then another Bama caller chimed in about LSU as well wanting comparisons to Alabama...and Basically was told, "you better worry about playing in the swamp..not worry about LSU just yet"
LOL!!!!!!!!!!! and so true
Finebaum should be golden today

All of this talk about who is better between Bama and LSU is silly. I would understand it more if it was later in the season and it was OU (who we don't have scheduled).
But we actually play, so it will be settled on the field...

What these brain-dead Row Taaaahds don't realize is that Wing's punts kept the average WVU starting field position inside their 15 yard line if not deeper. WVU gained a lot of their yardage on slants, look in screens, wide plays, but only a couple of big plays. Plus we must have kicked off to them about 900 times.

he was making a prediction not having a problem with his wife or something. Given that LSU played 3 ranked teams away from home and had questions at QB, to predict LSU would lose a Sept game was not outrageous. You should not take these things personally.
