Out of respect for the victim's family, that pic should probably be removed. No need to rush into convincing people it happened, all the details will come out in time.

She knows the victim, it's understandable for her not to be looking at the situation from an even plain. If I knew the victim I'd likely want the assailants heads on a platter as well. But as it is I have the benefit of looking at the situation without any emotional attachment.

I believe these lsu fans may be faking their injuries. They were probably trying to slow down momentum of the emptying parking lot. Unless I'm a complete moron, which is probably more accurate. -Dana

I've personally served as a witness to the MTPD in an assault case, they do a very good job IMO of doing due diligence. It took the BRPD a few weeks to investigate one of the most high profiled assaults in the country at the time, I don't think MTPD making sure they're not botching anything by taking their time on something that is a potential powder keg is a bad thing.

The subhominoid cretins who assaulted these folks should not be in any way indicative of WVU fans. They are just isolated jackasses.
Unfortunately, the fanbase has a bit more ownership when it comes to its own response to this incident. That response is measurable in forums like BGN. I'd suggest the mods there take the first 10 pages of the "Assault in Purple lot?" thread down. Ugly stuff.

I agree. Those pages really aren't going to improve their rep at all. They really do say some damn horrible things. Their own MB isn't going to improve national perception of them after this incident and their response.
Their mods must be idiots.
I hope their law enforcement and investigative people get this solved quickly.
