Bama fans, which game means more -- UT or AU?

I'm convinced it's UT. I find it hard to believe that's in jeopardy.
ETA: Or maybe not, given that the PAC12 is staying put and MO to SEC is probably off the table.
So which game is more important to Bama fans?

Both are huge games. Younger fans are more likely to say AU. Older fans will probably say UT.
I'd have to give the edge to AU, though. I'm not aware of any other traditional series that was suspended for 40+ years due to animosity between the schools...

I would say AU probably means more to most UA fans. Esp given the recent success, or lack thereof, of the programs. But UT/ UA and AU/UGA are very important rivalry games.
Although recently it seems like the UA/LSU game has been more important in regards to winning the conference than that of UT. Plus the whole Saban thing.
It really depends on where, as a Bama fan, you live and which of the two programs is having the most success as to which would be the bigger of the two games. But I can see the UT game being dropped (or UGA for AU) before the Iron Bowl. Although I can't imagine a season without playing either of them.
If UA didnt play UT, LSU, & AU in reg season and then UF in SECCG it just wouldn't seem right.

When I lived in Tn it was the UT game and unfortunately Bama had a shitty run while I lived there.
Since moving out of Tn the AU game has overtaken it in my mind.

Quite frankly, the Tennessee game means more to me. If Alabama and Auburn didn't play each other, the rivalry would still be very much there. There would still be year-round talk about who's better yada yada yad and how Auburn fans screw goats and how Alabama fans screw their cousins yada yada yada. To me, the Tennessee-Alabama game is everything the SEC stands for. Personally, it is one I would be devastated to see go. Sure it would be absolutely huge when we played every few years, but that rivalry wouldn't survive in the same light. The Alabama-Auburn rivalry isn't going anywhere, the club water polo games would still be a blood feud.

That depends on what criteria we're using to decide. In terms of importance to the success of a season - Auburn, because it's an SEC West matchup.
Bama/UT is more fun to me (less heated, higher level of respect between schools, etc...), and traditionally always meant more to Bama during our hayday of the 60s and 70s.
I would rather play UT than Auburn. I don't know if that answers your question. The Iron Bowl is starting to mean more than it should to a lot of people. Takes the fun out of the game when you have people getting divorces, killing trees, and beating their children over the outcome of the game.

UT. It's why they madethose roll ducks roll shirts for the Tennessee Oregon game last year and why they poisoned their rock, and why the guy at sec media days had a I hate vols shirt prior to being chastised by saban to where he felt like he had gone to church and god didn't approve.
But seriously it's likely a generational thing.

UT for me, but i'm < 40.
I have no love for AU at all, but I fricking hate UT from the bottom of my heart.

We can't get rid of either.

UT. I'm hoping we keep them as a permanent rival.

In terms of getting to ATL, the Auburn game means alot.
But in terms of history and tradition, Tennessee by a mile. We've played 93 times and the schools have won 42 conference titles since the rivalry started. They are the other blueblood in the SEC and beating them just gives a certain satisfaction that you can't get by beating a team like AU.

It's obviously UT. Just look at all the threads their fans start about them compared to Auburn. They are clearly Aubsessed with Tennessee.

It was always Alabama-Tennessee for me.

The Iron Bowl won't end. There is too much revenue generated by the game that stays within the state for that to happen.
Also, think about the impact that no Iron Bowl would have on Child Support.
Besides, if it did end, we would all know that it was due to the gumps being afraid of losing the winning record in the series.

Auburn rakes in around $425,000 in Iron Bowl hotel revenue

Robert Ratliff , executive director of the Tuscaloosa Convention and Visitors Bureau, estimates the total revenue the game generates runs between $12 million and $15 million
