3 games to watch out for. Florida, Tenn. and Alabama.

I would have had Ark on that list but I think they and WV are off of the list of teams to really worry about.

Bingo: Auburn/Kentucky/Tennessee, is simply not good enough.
Florida looked like they are very improved. Arkansas has a real Defensive weakness. LSU does look better then those two also. Alabama is the one game that LSU can really lose. 11-1 or 12-0.
It looks like we have a truly good LSU football team this year. Just maybe another National Champion!!

I think Florida is the best team in the SECe.

I see our toughest remaining opponents in this order:

1. Bama: look very similar to LSU
2. UF: speed on O and aggressive D
3. Ark: they're arkansas and find ways to beat LSU when oftentimes they shouldn't
4a. WVU: Geno Smith and their passing offense could pose a threat
4b. Tenn: Bray looks good, but Florida gave him just a spoonful of the all-u-can eat buffet of arse-whippin' he's going to be served on Oct 15.

This could be a very special year.

I don't know where all this hype for Florida is coming from ?

Are they improved ? Yeh, a little, but to me they still have some glaring arse weaknesses that they've had the past couple years.

1. Wide Receivers that can't get open
2. Running Backs that are on the smallish side and in turn struggle in short yardage situation.
3. A QB who is really mediocre at best.

I believe Florida completed TWO passes to a WR. Their WR's are pretty mediocre.

Now, on defense they are good. No doubt. Floyd, Powell, Jenkins, Easley. These guys are studs.

Lee was able to throw the ball pretty successfully last year on them and especially what many consider one of the best corners in the country, Jenkins. I think we can have that success role over to this year. Especially with them playing an entirely new secondary from last year.

I said it in the beginning of the year. I am not worried about the Gators.

LSU rolls much like the game in 09 vs Auburn. 31-7.

people continue to undersell florida. They are young but extremely talented. They will get better and better on defense, and I assure you charlie weiss will have them improving on offense as well.

LSU fans need to NOT look at Ark as a pushover this year and we need to bring our A game to Tiger Stadium to help the defense out.

So all you A gamers looking to give your tickets away so you can go sit up in the cold in a hunting stand, make sure you give them to somebody that will bring the same please.

They don't have the personnel this year to beat us, sorry. They just don't.

Rainey and Demps laugh their arse off at that remark. Sorry, I disagree.

They can laugh all they want. Until they get difference makers on the outside, they don't have a chance against us.

Muschamp didn't realize only Saban coached teams can get away with doing that.

Add former Gator Riley Cooper to that list.

- Not enough data on Bama. Defense looks solid but jury is still out on their offense/qb play

Very true. Jury is out somewhat out on their defense as well. They do look solid, but we need to see them against any team with an offense. As for their offense, they really haven't looked fantastic against even the subpar teams they've played.

But then again, bama could go undefeated. We just don't know enough yet.

Here's some data on Bama: using the transitive property, one can deduce that they're capable of beating temple by nearly 3 TDs

They didn't in 2003 either, but they still won.
I agree Florida shouldn't beat us, but they will still be dangerous. Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Auburn are not as good as the LSU Tigers, but all are dangerous, and as history shows, anything can happen if LSU isn't on top of it's game. Even Ole Miss will try to show some life against us, while otherwise on life-support.

Alabama is clearly the biggest challenge, but, as we all know, we can't take any conference game for granted.

Florida: LSU needs to actually throw quite a bit on them. They'll rack up yards and penalties.

If anything LSU fans should have learned in the last decaded, never overlook Florida. They are always dangerous. In 2003, they had lost 3 straight coming to BR, the fighting Zooks looked like hot garbage coming into Tiger Stadium with a true freshman at QB and a totally dysfunctional team on the road. Well, I think we all remember how that turned out.....

NEVER overlook Florida no matter how bad they might seem.

Florida will be tough to beat - they are legit. This is going to be our toughest test ahead of Bama. I'm glad we have them at home

I want to see them play on the road before I form my opinion, but they have the talent, just need the coaching.

TN is improved but still not there. It will be an MSU type game for us.

With losing Hunter, think we will beat them down at Rocky Top.

from what i saw of florida this weekend, they were not good. that secondary is completely lost and they must have dropped 5 potential interceptions. poor coverage, lots of penalties. the front 7, sure. i guess they're pretty good. offense, outside of rainey and demps, not much going on.

tennessee looks like a hot mess. as bad as florida was, tenn was worse.

in both of those games, i think lsu wins the trenches which will make the difference.

look at auburn's schedule before they play lsu. BRUTAL

bama's offense has taken a step back from last year even though the defense looks slightly better.

jury's still out on ark.

Didn't they hold TN to negative rushing yards today? Its their D that worries me more because it counters what we are good at which is running the ball.

that is concerning and i think the style of game we'll have to beat UF with.

which is scary when all it takes is one missed assignment and a guy like demps is gone or one missed tackle and rainey could kill a bitch......errrr i mean take it to the house.
