If you're the coaches, what do we need to work on?

Ford: got to get better at pass blocking. The one sack we gave us was his man and he wiffed SO bad, go back and look at the film.
Special Teams: just soft. have to kick the ball deeper and have to react quicker. They we're about one block away from breaking big ones, twice.
TM7: Fall forward, don't go backwards looking for space on punts. Just take what they give us.
Karnell Hatcher: seriously, GET BETTER. you're a senior.

First thing I do is find someone with a stronger leg for kickoffs. Spotting teams @ the 30 is going to hurt us.

We have to get a kicker that kicks it at least to the 5 yard line...thats unacceptbale we almost had one run back on us on the opening kickoff

Special teams and penalties. Still need to work on the passing game. Find some routes we deem "GEAUX TO." Started to see that with Beckham.

1. Kick the ball past the 15.
2. Get Brad Wing healthy.
3. Tell Tyrann he has to fair catch in some situations.(He has scared me to death a couple times this season)
4.Get Chris Faulk healthy.
5. D played out of their mind but still I saw a stat at one point they were 5/9 on third downs with an average of like 9 to go.. Work on third and long.

Kickoffs and punts will kill us in the long run if we can't get more distance out of both.
Hatcher needs to ride the bench. He is ineffective on blitzes and totally clueless in zone.
Ford needs to spend an entire day doing nothing but learning to pass protect.
Overall though, the team is incredible. Gotta lose some of those stupid penalties though.

I love to watch#7 but he needs to run strait ahead rather than backwards. He lost a few yards on each kick also he needs to learn about how to fair catch. Les should search every corner of the country & find some one to kick off.

Offense: Sustain drives, end more drives with TDs instead of punts or FG, and avoid stupid mistakes that kill drives, e.g. false starts, holding, blown routes, unblocked sacks, delays of game, etc)
Defense: Run Defense? Check!, Deep Pass Defense? Check! Short intermediate pass defense? Could use a little work but not a problem. The Defense is just so good you actually have to nitpick things to work on. Really for them its just avoid stupid fouls to allow the opponents to stay on the field (largely successful so far), force the offenses into more 2nd/3rd and longs, and do not allow opponents to sustain drives.

Kick offs.....why are teams catching the ball at the 15-20? We played really well against a good team on the road, but field position bit.
