by Claiborne.

Or did he?

We were all WTF is he bitching about? He COULDN'T have been complaining about Claiborne on that play or he really doesn't know all that much about the rules and football. Or maybe he's just an irrational hothead when things don't go his way?

I'm having a hard time deciding who's more of a constant embarrassment on the sidelines: Mullen or Brian Kelley.

I think he is "an irrational hothead when things don't go his way" and was just working the ref so Mullen would get the next close call...

considering they got away with a blatant PI on the 2 yard line by the bama bangs MLB on a 3rd and goal, he should be happy.

The only play I really felt like he had a good gripe, was when we got that PF call when Randle got hit after that incompletion

Agreed.

I was at a bar where the sound was muffled but he also went nuts over a false start where it seemed like a whistle blew THEN State's lineman moved.

He seemed to have a legit gripe on that one but again i never got an explanation because i couldnt hear much. Anyone know what happened on that play?

Not even close. Kelley by a mile. Mullen is just looking out for his team and trying to gain an advantage in any way he can by "politicking". Kelley on the other hand berating his own team is doing no one any favors.

Yes he did.

I bet he didn't go ballistic when Deangelo Peterson was wearing the DB for a backpack in the 1st Quarter.

as far as the officiating goes for the game the only really bad call i saw all night was the Pass Int. NO CALL on the first LSU drive.

The hit on RR will get called every time.

Why? The ref's whistle was to alert that the ball was in play. The ref has to hold the ball til subs are made, chains are moved, etc. He then blows the whistle alerting the play is active.

That's no excuse for the O line to start to block before the ball is snapped.

The DB saw the play was over and lowered his shoulder after watching the ball hit the ground.

Yeah, that was a well deserved flag.
