Angel Hair Pasta with cream sauce

1/2 gallon half and half. Add 1 chopped yellow onion, seasoning salt. Simmer for about 45 minutes to thicken, stir often. Now add green onion tops and 1.5 pounds peeled medium shrimp, simmer another 10 minutes. Boil angel hair and drain.

Serve sause over angel hair. Goes great with redfish on the half shell. Some even put sauce over fish!

grilled zucchini. cut it the long way and drizzle it with olive oil. it's fantastic. don't be afraid to sort of "burn" the outside.

I like just regular white rice, with a little salt on the side.

I like loaded mashed potatoes.

Mashed potatoes with some green onions, bacon, etc....maybe some blue cheese if I'm feeling frisky.

Well, you already have the grill going, so grilled veggies. Asparagus, corn on the cob, potatoes with onion slivers.

All the sides in here sound great already but Id just like to add that I like to put some oil in a tinfoil pan and cook my asparagus on the grill that way.

i've made this a few times recently with my redfish on the half shell. it's from Besh's My New Orleans show on pbs:

6 ears of corn cut from the cob
About 4 cloves of garlic chopped fine
About the same amount of ginger as garlic chopped fine (break off a small nub from one of the larger pieces)
2-3 green onions chopped
Salt
Olive Oil
Red Pepper Flakes
Sugar
Rice Wine Vinegar

Coat the bottom of a sauté pan with olive oil and heat. Add corn and sauté for a minute or two then add green onions, garlic, and ginger and sauté for another few min. Season with kosher salt and red pepper flakes and add ½ tsp of sugar and stir in. Add about ¼ cup of rice wine vinegar and stir in.

MONEY!

Choc who the hell are you feeding? I dump a half gallon of half and half into a cream sauce, I'm feeding every swinging dick that fits into JJs confiscated shoes.

About 20 every other Friday or Saturday during the summer in Grand Isle. You knw the type: "Hey lets go to Chocs camp, he's cooking and the booze is free". Frickers never invite me to nothing!
