Michael Ford- no gloves?

Not a big deal, but I wanted to get opinions. At first I kinda loved the fact that Michael Ford doesn't wear gloves. It is an old school approach that gives a cool rugged feel to our running game (I know that sounds overstated). Anyway, I got in a debate with a friend this weekend about this and he was saying that every player should utilize the current glove technology. Gloves these days give an extra sense of security when carrying the football and makes it less likely to come loose. Ford hasn't been a fumbling running back (knock on wood), but maybe he should consider them. Any opinions?

You are right. Don't listen to your friend. It's all about feel anyway and if he feels more comfortable without gloves then he shouldn't wear them.

same reason why some baseball players dont wear batting gloves all about feel dont think it has anything to do with old school shite.

He doesn't need gloves, his bicep protects the ball enough

no opinion... Ford is man enough to make that decision on his own....

Fred Couples approves of his decision.

I love the fact that he doesn't wear gloves. Just like how I liked Cubs great Mark Grace or Brooks Conrad of the Braves not wearing batting gloves

There was someone on hereast week saying he wishes Ford would wear gloves because they help with pass blocking

I just spoke to Michael about this. He said that he plans to wear these gloves vs Mississippi St.
