Not a big deal, but I wanted to get opinions. At first I kinda loved the fact that Michael Ford doesn't wear gloves. It is an old school approach that gives a cool rugged feel to our running game (I know that sounds overstated). Anyway, I got in a debate with a friend this weekend about this and he was saying that every player should utilize the current glove technology. Gloves these days give an extra sense of security when carrying the football and makes it less likely to come loose. Ford hasn't been a fumbling running back (knock on wood), but maybe he should consider them. Any opinions?

You are right. Don't listen to your friend. It's all about feel anyway and if he feels more comfortable without gloves then he shouldn't wear them.

He doesn't need gloves, his bicep protects the ball enough

I love the fact that he doesn't wear gloves. Just like how I liked Cubs great Mark Grace or Brooks Conrad of the Braves not wearing batting gloves

I just spoke to Michael about this. He said that he plans to wear these gloves vs Mississippi St.
