If JJ started the season in this fashion, how would you respond?

Lee’sstatistics were modest - he completed 10-of-22 for 98 yards and a touchdown - but he was hampered by severaldrops by his receiversand didn’t turn the ballover

Anyone who watched the game saw an improvement at QB

I would say the receivers need to catch the balls that hit them in both hands.

JJ bounces the ball on short passes...

Not trying to slam JJ but this could be his stats from Mcneese St. So chill.

I respond by saying that I'm happy Lee is at QB, and hope JJ never takes another snap at LSU.

Yes, several big drops. Although ill say i'm not completely satisfied by any means. I think we need to throw more vertical to back the defense up while looking for a big play. I see plenty of room for improvement and happy with Lee qb play.

You never see the 7 delay of game penalties and 5 burnt timeouts as a stat.

And I respond by saying I agree completely.

I watched the game. I didn't see it. So don't say anyone.

The touch that Lee can put on the ball compared to JJ is the difference.

Yes, the recievers dropped a bunch of balls, but lee was far from accurate. Qb play looked exactly the same as last year.

Besides lonergans brain fart, the offense wasn't confused. We actually had timeouts available before half if we needed them. We ran what worked and didn't stray from it. We used the run to open up play action.
No wizardry, just hard-nosed football.
Drops hurt Lee. Lee haters won't admit it. If it happened to JJ I would be just as positive about the QB situation.
All around I saw great improvement on offense.

Or the confusion in trying to figure out what to do. Or the pouty faces when the receivers drop balls.

JJ ain't coming back so let's all just get behind Lee and watch this team go

Remove all names, history, and context.
QB throws 10 for 22, 98 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 97.8 passer rating.
Would this strike you as something laudable?

When and if Shepard comes back it will take the pressure off of randle

How many of the incompletes were drops by the recievers?
