Agree, from a human nature perspective. You HAVE to feel for the kid. And yes, he's still just a kid. Made a bone-headed decision. Now he has to live with it.

I can't help but think that he would not feel so bad if CLM had not led him to believe he was the #1 QB on the team. Seriously, he is a backup QB in the SEC, at best. He shouldnt have been playing in the first place, now he'll blame this 'fight' on his demise, when in reality, he really shouldnt have been a starting QB in the SEC to begin with. There, someone had to say it.

Coonass...well stated. I would like to have seen if Coach Kragey really transformed this kid into a great Qb.

Right. Isn't the starter typically the number one guy?

ETA: JJ's stats are better than Lee's in every category--including comp % and ypa. That's odd for someone with so many more throws.

Why do you feel sad for him? He put himself in that position and its his choices that got him there. I am not saying that what he did was right or wrong because I was not there. What I can tell you is this, When you have been working your arse off for months on end and you are 2 weeks from one of the biggest games of your life, your an idiot to be going out to bars and drinking. He had a job and knew what he had to do and his decisions got him there.
He was not a freshman or sophmore but a senior "leader" which i use that word very loosely.
LSU nation or the team can not worry about him and I believe everyone has put that on the backburner. The Ducks should be the only thing on our teams mind right now.

J.Jefferson is No.1
Criminal at bar drunk chasing after his girl friend, thrown out of bar, when outside started fight, threw first punch. He ain't injured, spotted at BR bar already this week drinking. All this now known by everyone including the BR Police late. Case will not go to trial, shall be dismissed ASAP.

I shoulda been!
I woulda been:

If I just did not pull a stupid stunt and acted in a manner of leadership for a football team of a university on national stature.

yea i get tired of hearing but he's just a kid argument.

do people feel the same about 18-21 year olds in the armed services? that they are just kids over there fighting wars and they cant take some criticism and be responsible for their actions?

What other reason would there be to bring this topic BACK up at this point? there isn't even any new info to argue about...just more bile heaping at the guy because some weren't entertained enough while he was under center.
