Outside of Washington, These other three schools have no business playing LSU.

If I can only choose one, I guess Towson it is.

Pretty dumb schedule. I completely understand cupcakes, but the OOS ones without a pulse are pretty useless. It's much more interesting to bring in ULL, Tech, ULM, Tulane, etc.

Even if A&M leaves the Big 12, I seriously doubt it will happen that quickly. If they do break from the conference that quickly though, I'd imagine Towson would get the ax.

So, no one has explained this to me. Are we going to have a 13 team league with an uneven amount of teams in the West?

Don't we have to play a FCS school to be able to play 13 games?

If not, Towson needs to go.

No clue but if they come to the SEC next year, I'm pretty sure they would be on our schedule.

I think they will find a 14th team and we will play the 6 teams in the West and only two against the East. I can't see anyone playing 9 league games and then the possibility of the championship game.

If A&M has announced then they have a deal in principle, so who is the other team that will balance out the league?

I assume you ask bc we would add A&M to the schedule. Wouldn't we drop an SEC east team instead of playing 9 SEC games. I would think the 4 occ teams would stay.

Does this mean an end to playing a permanent opponent from the other division (i.e. Florida) every year?

Sure hope not. This is why I don't want A&M. LSU FLA have provided us with arguably 2 of the top 5 games in LSU history. I love playing Florida. Plus you would lose rivalries like Bama Tennessee and Auburn Georgia. I hate the idea of expansion completely.
