Reports emerged Monday that a meeting between Baton Rouge police detectives and four members of the LSU football program, originally scheduled for Monday morning and pushed back to Tuesday, would not take place after all.

Based on at least one report, however, the meeting is back on.

The Baton Rouge Advocate is reporting that the four players — quarterback Jordan Jefferson, offensive tackle Chris Davenport, linebacker Josh Johns and wide receiver Jarvis Landry – will meet with detectives Tuesday as planned. Per the request of the BRPD’s chief, the location and the time of the meeting is not being disclosed.

The Advocate also notes, by way of BRPD spokesperson Don Stone, “[i]nvestigators concluded through their investigation that both simple battery and second-degree battery charges will be filed when the investigation is completed and arrests are possible.” The latter charge is a felony which carries a maximum five-year prison term while the former is a misdemeanor.

are you saying the BRPD talked to the players prior to making the above statement? if so, where is that?

What the hell are you talking about? The video PROOF shows the incident with JJ walking by Lowery arguing with Liz and not knowing them. Nothing else at all. JJ's own lawyer said that the fight was going on while they were both inside contradicting everything the employees said about Lowery starting the fight and JJ standing by the door and the truck coming in later. Also, there is the fact that Lowery is not being thrown out, but seen leaving in the video which again contradicts what the employees said.

By your logic I could say JJ walked by Lowery and didn't know him then walked outside and jumped on a magical unicorn and flew away. This is backed up 100% with video PROOF!

come on man, someone with such wit and careful word choice on the poliboard surely knows the difference between explicitly stating a subject and letting the reader purposefully walk himself down the wrong path due to their own stupidity.
