Your receiving corp is extremely inexperienced. Offenses are behind the defense this time of year.

As for the 40 times:

Patterson and Mathis have combine times in the 4.3's. Go look at them on their scout profiles. Mathis ran a 10.4 100 meter and won it in Michigan. Patrick Chung was in our secondary and ran a combine 4.4 and his winter conditioning times were always a lot slower than that. Rob Moseley talked about this in his blog (beat writer that follows the team).

Make no mistake, Mathis has elite speed and he is #3 on the depth chart.

There are some realistic fans but overall the average person here overrates your offense way too much. Your running game will be good but your passing attack will be very modest. Been the same way for the last 5 years. Nothing changing. I do think you guys have a bad arse program and always cheer for you guys against everyone in the SEC. Too much is now stacked against you guys in this game. Gonna be brutal for you guys in the west this year too if lee can't step up as well.

Lee should have good numbers for at least four reason.

First, I think the play calling will be better vertically than what we had with Crowton. At least, that is what everyone has suggested this spring and summer. It only takes a few long passes to significantly pad the stats.

Second, the Oregon defense will probably not offer as much pressure as an SEC defense would.

Third, Kragthorpe has been working with him and that should help him a lot with his mechanics.

Fourth, the playbook and reads have been simplified since Crowton left.

Just being optimistic, bro. If you recall Lee's INT record year, you'll remember that he could move the offense through the air pretty well despite all the picks. I don't think 200 yds is an unrealistic estimate.

I really think Oregon is going to be very surprised by the way Lee plays... Lee is more mature as a person and in the game... He proved that last year... He with stood bamas defense and i have to say i think there defense is better then yours... So all i can says Oregon fans just keep doubting Lee and give him credit and he will beat yall... I hope your football team is as careless as the fans...

"Your receiving corp is extremely inexperienced. Offenses are behind the defense this time of year."

Randle is a true junior who is considered one of the best in the SEC. Wright and Boone both played last year as true freshman. We also have 4 TE's returning, two of which can catch real well. Spencer Ware is one of the best receiving RB's at LSU since Kevin Faulk and he also lines up in receiver slots occasionally.

"As for the 40 times: "

Well for the 40 times you shouldn't base your opinion on Rivals numbers, I got mine from the GoDucks website. Here's the little part about Dior's 40 time electronically timed "took first in the 40 yard electronic (4.74 seconds) during winter conditioning." I guess the GoDucks site is wrong and you're right. If it is true and that's the fastest DB you have then good luck again.

Y'all have a good safety and rover player, but none of you're cornerbacks have really proved themselves in real game situations. You basically have half a starter returning at the CB spot in Anthony Gildon, but he hasn't done much to prove he's a great player. You can read all the practice, scrimmage, and article reports you want, none of them can measure how the player will react in Jerry world against competition they haven't played against. None of you're returning cornerbacks made a big contribution against Auburn, so they haven't really proved themselves against this type of competition.

A lot of JJ's passing issues came down to pressure applied from the OL not being good enough in pass protection. IF the OL can be somewhat formidable Lee will and can perform surgery on Secondary's. Pass protection will be key this year. If we get it our Offense will return to glamour years gone by.

The conditions were awful and all of the 40 times were slow. Luckily a number of our players also ran track. You can look up their 100 times if you want.
