did you re-read c on z cause I added the important info and you should factor that in.

Ok.
is given a couple drives where he moves the team at will but then Lee comes in and gets the clinching touchdown?

ETA: clinching touchdown is from the 2 with a short side option pitch to Ware between the hash and the sideline. this part is the really important info.
If the world is pissed at SEC dominance in the BCS era, wait till they put in a playoff.

They'll be talking 14 in a row...

It is very important to the season that Lee does not through a pick 6 in the Oregon game

I will bet my house, my wife and my kids that Lee will not through a pick 6 for the rest of his career... at LSU AND beyond.

And I got a nice house.

Guaranteed!

do we win with this?

The game yes.

The Tard fallout over, gasp, a QB throwing a pick! Oh my.... no.

Apparently he's been sitting around brushing up on his sentence structure.

Has any fan base ever freaked out this much and whined and cried and blamed the cops, media, Marines, FBI, victims etc etc over a player with similar credentials? This is not losing Cecil Collins. This is not losing Greg Hill. This is not even losing Larry Foster. This is not losing Robert Tyler! This is not losing Ryan Perriloux. This is losing Troy Giddens.

Grow up for once, posi-tigers.

when keepin it real, really is real.
Cue Saban's Bama Pre-LSU speech released on the interwebz.

The idiocy in the OP is just insane. First of all JJ has been suspended he has not been kicked off the team. There is a very very small chance that JJ is not the kicker but to think that there is a conspiracy where the real kicker is known but JJ is the scapegoat is way past stupid.

You know what's funny about this?

There's not a single statement in the entire OP about a conspiracy where the real kicker is known but JJ is the scapegoat.

And, when questioned, he specifically said he would not sue LSU.

In my mind, that's like not passing a law to outlaw coal plants but using the EPA to issue rules to put them out of business.

Enough with this shite...damn

How about enough of the whining? It's just a bar fight, everyone does it, back in the day, it's only a cold sore... whatever.

Is there a link to this discussion by Unglesby?

WWL radio from last night. Don't know if they archive or not.

Cell phone video, security video and trace evidence gives these things teeth for prosecution.

"Back in the day..." does not apply anymore.

Ask any one of the 8500 Burger King Brawl participants how these things go down nowadays.

Back to your regular programming.

I'd prefer to give him a shout out.

Enough violence up in this board already.

So is it too soon for trace evidence to have been found on the shoes that they took away and they arrested him on other evidence and they are still waiting for results of evidence on the shoes?

They're in a regular crime lab cycle. Probably 10 days to 2 weeks.
They were suspended in order to get the white QB on the field.

Haven't you read enough here yet?
IMO, if there is found to be no trace evidence on JJ's shoes the case against him crumbles.
quote:

The only earning potential he will have is with his degree. He will never play a down in the NFL or even make a team.

While I don't think Jefferson would be an NFL qb, certainly with a solid Sr year, he had the potential to get drafted or UFA... teams will take a chance on big athletic kids.

In any event, the focus of Ungelsby's statements was timing... things had to move quickly in order to get JJ back on the field.
quote:

I disagree with your assessment of what Unglesby said. He said getting JJ reinstated would not involve legal action. He said that would be out of the question. He was pretty much saying he had to find out how to go about doing it through discussion with the university and Les Miles.

He was asked directly if he would pursue legal action to get JJ reinstated and he stressed that was not an option. If he takes that off the table I would hardly say he would do anything to get him playing again. He sounded like he would just have discussions not create havoc.

I'm gonna go with this version. not as sensational, so most prob won't read it.

So you're going to do with the version that is factually untrue? The Rant lives!
quote:

I disagree with your assessment of what Unglesby said. He said getting JJ reinstated would not involve legal action.

Well, considering I never once mentioned anything about any kind of legal action, your assessment sucks.

Go back and really read what I wrote.
Ungelsby's point was there it no time for a normal process to occur here.

That by the time a normal process occurred, JJ wouldn't even be arraigned until the season is almost over.

That that costs him his shot at his future earning potential.

There's just a lot of chaos an aggressive atty, pushed by a selfish client, can make here.

And that's before you pull out the first race card, which will definitely be dropped at some point as this unfolds.
This is my paraphrase but it's exactly the scenario he painted:

He's gonna push through the University to get JJ reinstated regardless of the havoc it would create.

He mentioned he has no experience in what to do in order to get JJ back onto the team, but that he was gonna do everything he could to get it done and that there had to be some University process through which it is done.

If you thought it was over and we were just playing football, think again.

Stay tuned.

Nice touch of the music there at the end - lol

Can a suspended player practice with the team?
