as for both being charged with the felony...if you view the "enhanced" video that was on here recently, you can see one guy kicking the dude on the ground, and shortly after, another guy punches the dude on the ground a couple of times.
Pure assumption, but presumably the kicker is JJ and the puncher is Josh. The felony charge can probably apply to striking a person who is defenseless (ie, on the ground after being beaten and kicked).

I'm sure he does, but he still has a job to do. Oh and trust me I guarantee his position and career are more valuable than showing bias in this case.

I don't believe the guy waited outside to attack a group of football players by himself and then a truck pulls into it and some dudes jump out and join in. I do believe that Lowery is apparently a POS who was harassing his ex. He might have been angry at the football players which led to him jumping in when he saw the fight. I want to know what the other side even is. Who was fighting and what about?

First of all, its been indicated that this guy isn't really a Marine, he just signed the papers, but has yet to even attend Basic. However, even if that information is incorrect, just because someone wears the uniform, doesn't mean that the military condones their behavior, or that the person is a good representation of our fine men and women in uniform........especially when that person is physically abusing women and starting bar fights.
As far as Jefferson and Johns go, I'm a firm believer that if you do the crime, you do the time, but as someone who has a friend that knows Lowry and as someone who spent 6 years on a Joint Special Operations Team working with a number of Marines, I can tell you that I know his type. Alpha male, high-school dropout, who lacks any semblance of discipline, is always looking for the next chance to prove their masculinity -often to the embarrassment of themselves and others, an I.Q. lower than their shoe size, and a constant chip on their shoulder. The guy had already been grabbing and shoving his ex-gf ( who got a restraining order against him ) in the bar before he was kicked out and had slapped or punched one of her friends earlier in the night.
If he does manage to make it into the Marines, then I feel very sorry for anyone who may have to go into theater with him. Macho idiots who think combat is like a video game, who glorify violence and are all about being the "hardcore killer" are the ones whose idiocy gets their teammates killed.
This entire thing is a huge mess and I am honestly appalled that our football players didn't have the sense ( especially when they were already breaking curfew and before one of the biggest games in years which could make or break this season ) to avoid trouble. However, Lowry, and very likely his allies, are not good samaritans and well meaning victims.......just some arrogant, drunk, trash who started a fight, lost, and then saw an opportunity to get even.

As a result of the arrests, LSU head coach Les Miles announced that Jordan Jefferson and Josh Johns have been suspended indefinitely from the LSU football team..

Brett Martel is on the sports hangover on WIST 690 New Orleans right now. Says he has seen the surveillance video that has not made the internet rounds yet. Lowery is seen getting into it with a girl apparently, Jefferson is seen smiling and walking right by, wearing sunglasses.

People here don't understand that this case is a long way from being over for all involved. Today's events only allows LSU to move on.

I agree with this TK, but the Andrew's initial story was such BS I have trouble believing these guys just tooted their horn and got a beating for it.
I also understand the players know they may have to face consequences no matter who starts it. I just don't think we should crucify the players.

early reports were that Fisher was representing all 4 players questioned. if that is indeed the case, he cannot represent one party who is providing evidence against another party. it is a clear conflict of interest. if he did not withdraw as counsel, it could not have gone down this way. the way this thing has been under a microscope, i think we would have heard if he withdrew his representation of one or more of the players. it's possible that he did withdraw, but it just seems that this would have come out before now.
