I remember growing up in East Texas and going to the A&M/LSU games in Baton Rouge and vice versa in College Station. I was jealous of the SEC vs the SWC then, and I hope the Aggie Band makes many trips to Tiger Stadium

the last baylor/aggie game at Kyle Field I sat next to some baylor girls

yep. that was some awful shite. I go to a lot of Texas 5A games, and many HS bands blow them out of the water. maybe it was the fact I was too close to the sidelines and the green and gold was blinding me.

i very much enjoy their band. i guess it's because i like marches and military type songs a lot (along with just about every other genre). and as far as i knnow, it's the only college band in the country that plays that. if i was a student i'd probably get tired of it, but seeing them occasionaly is cool. i'm not into public genital squeezing but i like me some texas a&m band.

I do like aTm's band, but don't think it's any better than LSU's band...just different. aTm fan used to allways yell "wait til you see a real band" at Tiger Stadium when we played back in the early 90's. After someone punched them in the face, they shut up, but still acted like they had the only college band worth a damn...

A&M's band sounds pretty bad. They march as good as anybody in the country...their drill is legit.
That said, it's the same shows every year, it should be good. It's military music, which is a nice throwback I admit.
But their playing is pretty mediocre.
Then again, pretty sure you can't major in music at A&M, which is a reason that the band won't have the sound of other notable bands.

A bloody fist fight broke out in the stands during the '94 game and I asked an old LSU fan next to me if he could see how the fight started, and without blinking he said "somebody probably made a joke about the Aggie band."
