We know the defense is going to carry the load this year. We know the offense isn't going to produce, no matter who's at quarterback, sike - Mettenberger is a dog; but we all know that's not going to happen either...
Tyrann Mathieu and the gang are going to bust heads, that's the only thing im looking forward to watching.

this could be fun to respond to. assuming you are being serious, i would like to know where you got your crystal ball and why you think it is worth the price you paid for it. my crystal ball tells me that our offense will carry the defense the first few games this year. if not, we are gonna be screwed because i think we replace nevis, peterson and esp. shepard this year. we have the talent (i think) but not the experience and the experience is uber important.Posted on 8/18/11 at 10:32 am to Big Chief NOLA

FWIW the only practice I watched Mett looked like shite. I know I've always been somewhat of a JJ apologist, but Mettenberger just isn't ready...

I know, right? I mean- let's be honest with ourselves, why don't we? If only we could return to the fundamentally sound type of offense we all enjoyed so much throught the '90s...We are just so predictable and bland now. Oh- for the good ole days to make a comeback!!!
