We have a ton of rivals. I know not all LSU fans consider some of these schools as rivals, but others do. A lot depends on age and where you grew up. But damn, we have a bunch...

-Alabama
-Auburn
-Ole Miss
-Florida
-Arkansas
-Tulane

Actually, we don't have a good rivalry at all.

We have a lot of recent ones, but nothing like FSU/UF or South Carolina/Clemson.

LSU doesn't really have a good rival. I think it used to be Tulane, but that's gone nowhere. I would say, maybe, the Arkansas series has the start of a new rivalry. They really don't have a rival either and we can't seem to beat them.

On the flip side, I could argue that we have no real rivals.

LSU has one rival and that is Ole Miss. There are more important games every year but that should not be confused with rivalry.

Not a true rivalry, but the AU series has been money. It's a shame the series was not played more pre-1992. What about the Diesel in a losing effort against AU? Jaime Howard? Eddie Fuller catch? Burning building at AU? Moving the game in 2001 until later in the season and AU scratching the Tiger eye and Saban onsiding the kick off? D-Byrd catch for the win in 2007? Refgate at AU? The call on the PAT that gave AU the win and was never called again (the defender jumping the line on the kick and supposedly hitting the O lineman in the head)?

I love that series, as much or moreso than Bama/UF.

Let me putit to you like this, no one wants to be LSU's rival.

First there was Tulane, after some years of being competitive, and even going to the Rose Bowl, eventually LSU turned Tulane's athletic program into a wasteland.

Turn the page to Ole Miss. From 1950-1970 no other college football teams won more games than than Ole Miss ( LINK). Then LSU takes them to the woodshed 61-17 and Ole Miss' program hasn't been the same since.

We are rival killers.

Next...?

I guess if they're on your schedule they become a rival all of a sudden?
