I think M'Vila is a fantastic signing, but a little nervous about some of the Arsenal bloggers that are thinking this might be the end of Song. Swapping them out doesn't make us any better. We tried signing M'Vila before this season, so hopefully they are wrong.

Also I'm absolutely loving the apparent change in transfer policy. I don't expect us to throw around this much money every year, but getting deals done quickly is a nice change. LeGrove claims there is another pretty major signing in the works, so we'll see.

I think this actually frees Song up to continue his work higher up the pitch, similar to what Yaya Toure has become for MCFC. Also seems to indicate to me that Wenger sees Wilshere's future higher up the pitch.

Song's getting an extension, he's not going anywhere.

But what happens to Denilson after he returns from his loan?

I actually think M'vila is a replacement for Denilson and Jack. Wilshire will move up the pitch, while M'Vila will be another DLP and DM option off who will start as needed.

We have to get rid of some of the dross, as by my count we have 6 players who we need to get off the wage bill.

We might need another RB as well, as I'm worried about Sagna's leg.

I'm fine with Jenkinson. He's not a starter at this point, but a satisfactory backup.

Who is better? Jenkinson or Nico Yennaris? I vote Yennaris just because his name sounds badass.

I imagine Coquelin is better than both. He was pretty good as a RB when he's played. Yennaris probably won't make it here. Jenkinson has lots of good qualities but he needs lots of games.

I just remember Jenkinson getting thrown in the fire during that early season thrashing against Man U, then progressively getting better until he got injured. He got to a point that I was very impressed with his speed and crosses.

Coquelin impressed me when he played, to be honest. I have high hopes for him.

Pat Rice is retiring. Last match on the bench is Sunday.

We shall miss the shorts.

Bump to keep on the first page..

But really does anyone else post on Reddit at all?

upvotes/downvotes confuse the frick out of me.. I think some of it is because of my Arsenal flair.. but for example, someone posted a video of a hockey guy using his skate to pass forward for an assist on a near goal that the guy shot between the keepers legs.. so my comment was "Is that John Terry in goal?" = downvotes apparently.. C'mon man.. thats just humor

Speaking of reddit.. apparently Arsenal are a gif goldmine this year.

The RVP/Verm chest pump goal is amazing.

As for Reddit, don't get worked up about it. I stopped trying to be clever because sometimes those people can be douchey.

Seriously though, even now I laugh every time I see the magic chest bump.

This one also makes me laugh.

Amazing that with all the transfers and injuries and everything, Arsenal finished two points better than last season and did about as well in all the cup competitions
