This, however, is an awesome idea.
I almost tried to get tickets at the last minute for this game. I'm glad I didn't. I don't know what to think now. Arsenal has been given golden opportunities against weak competition to pull away and we can't seem to do it.

Signs of life for young Wellington Silva? Another solo golazo from March. I had practically forgotten about this kid. Glad he's starting to put things together somewhat. Lots of talent.

Could it really be this simple? With Arteta this season Arsenal have played 28 league games and earned 63 points out of a possible 84. Without Arteta, Arsenal have played 9 games this season, and have earned 4 points out of a possible 27. Even more telling IMO, is if you take Arsenal's percentage of points earned w/ Arteta and apply it to a 38 game season Arsenal would have 86 points, only a game off Man U and City. Conversely, if you take Arsenal's percentage of points earned without Arteta and apply it to an entire season, Arsenal would have 17 points, and be comfortably last in the entire EPL. Now obviously i don't think Arsenal would only have 17 points if they played the entire season without Arteta, but I think this pretty well illustrates how incredibly vital Arteta is and the severe drop in quality when he's absent

We don't have a back up at DLP with both Arteta and Wilshere out. Hopefully next season we will have both players healthy.

Rumor is Nuri Sahin will be up for sale this summer... Seems like he'd be a good fit for Arsenal's DLP... aProbably wouldnt need to break the bank given what RM paid for him and his low appearances this year...

Sahin would be a perfect fit IMO. The only problem is that he would take playing time away from Arteta who has been very good. That said, Arteta is pretty old and I'm sure they always knew he would only be a short-term solution.

All sorts of reputable reporters saying M'Vila is ours for £17mil. Hopefully we can move out players as quickly as we're buying them.
