A question I have always asked myself...
Why doesnt HBO have the Wire on On Demand? Did they sell it to another network?

I know Directv has been showing them On Demand, thru a Directv channel (The 101, not HBO O-D).

It makes an appearance every once in a while but it won't be the entire series.

Sometimes they do. HBO doesn't have its entire catalogue on demand at all times.

It's on HBO go right now, which I would highly recommend. It has every episode of every HBO show.

I'm just now finishing up Season 3. It is one of the best 2 or 3 shows I've ever seen.

I finished Season 3 tonight. I think I'm going to wait a little while for Season 4 and catch up on some other shows just to savor the last couple of seasons. It's that good.

Do yourself a favor and go ahead and watch season 4 now. If you liked 1-3 as much as you say you did then 4 will be worth it. As others have said this is the best season of the show. I'm about 1/3 into season 5 but 4 blew 1-3 away.

I'm going to enjoy the anticipation for a week or two. Once I watch it, I can never watch it again for the first time.
